What a bunch of heartless chumps.
No guts, no fire, no urgency, no retaliation for 2 hit batters in the same inning.
The only guys who got up, for what in my mind is a series that will set the tone in the AL east all summer, were Jeter and Posada.
As old and worn out as these guys are, they know what it takes to win!

Joe Girardi put out an awful lineup last night.
I don't care who's starting, righty, lefty, knuckleballer, Edwardo Nunez has no business starting in that game or any in the series.

The Grandyman hits a HR and the next pitch hit's Teixeira on the upper back. Benches and bullpens empty out.

If Doc or Lee ever get injured, the Phillies are in the toilet.

.....or Hamels , who's pitching in the TOP of the MLB right now....and I hope you're not comparing Hughes, or Joba (who I just never got) to the Phils staff....

I wasnt comparing anybody.
I made a flat statement about your team.
I dont think the Phillies can win a WS without either Doc or Lee.

It could be good for Jeter to go to the DL for 2 weeks. He then can come off the DL and get #3000 at home.

There is no bench on this team.
Every time I see Nunez in the game I want to punch my TV.

Again, Eric Chavez is hurting somewhere, usually injuries are no xcuse,
as there is no crying in baseball, but its getting ridiculous.

Every team goes through it unfortunately, last year the Sox were croaked that way, this year it is worse for the Yankees. I do have an idea that the Yankees will be fine sooner rather than later. I am not a fan of a team having an advantage due to opposing injuries.

It should be his birthday everyday, great glove and bat yesterday.
Hope we still have some runs left after the onslaught last night.

On a side note Beckett thru a one hit shutout at the Rays yesterday, after
Shields shut the Sox out the day before.

Hughes is 3 starts from returning. His velocity was up to 93 yesterday.

You had to freakin' say it, didn't you? It took them 12 innings today before they could scratch out a 3-2 victory, on a couple of singles and another danged hit-batsman.

I knew it, and i listened to the whole game.
And we can`t retaliate with no pitchers left in the pen.
And the other teams know this, thats why they r aiming at us.

I watched the Yankee / Cubs game on ESPN last night, or should I say, in the middle of the night here in The Netherlands. Cigar, drink, great company and a good and exciting game, what more do you want, the rain to go away here, not too big a problem for the dish, but I would have liked a BBQ before the game haha
