Leveling up is all about how good you are and what games you play. My first 70 went by slow bc I was learning. I have leveled up to 60 on my first prestige in 1.5 months by playing Domination and Search and Destroy. Also getting 25+ kills a game helps!

Good grif! I was shocked and jumped up yelling HELL YEAH! when I got 8 kills in a row once. LOL! But I only been playing online for a couple weeks or so. And only for an hour or two at a time because of a nerve problem in my left arm that will be fixed (I hope) in march.

The streaks will come as you learn the maps, unlock some of the better weapons/perks/death streaks and customize your set-up.

I like the FAMAS with Silencer/Red Dot Sight.
Bling perk
Stopping Power pro perk
Cold Blooded perk
and the Throwing knife.

I really haven't used any other weapons as much. the FAMAS seems to help me well.

I've been using the scar a lot now as well, I also switched to the ACR...but I'll go back to the tar when I do prestige again so I can finish my prestige headshot challenge....Still using the WA2000 and M21ebr for sniping

Am I the only one that plays all the time but still sucks ass? Seriously, I don't play it religiously like some but enough to have gotten some fairly decent weapons and racked up a few kill streaks on a regular basis but damn I swear I'm always on the bottom of the team list in terms of kill to death ratio.

I need to go to MW2 boot camp I guess LOL

Don't worry. I suck too and my k/d ratio is less than 1 :r

I play for fun and laugh when people freak out about their k/d ratio like it make them so much cooler.

My bro and I were talking about this earlier today. He is crazy, rarely does he die more than 5 times. Always has 20+ kills. He plays everyday and pretty much whenever he has free time. Me I play here and there and I don't see any chance I'm gonna get better :r

My kill death ratio is the complete opposite of your brothers' :r Ok its not that bad but I only routinely get about 10 or so kills per round (Team Deathmatch Xpress) and usually end up with 15+ deaths. I'm way under par

I'm right there with ya. Even when the rare occasion that I place in Free-for-all I have close to the equal amount of deaths. My brother informed me there is some online video guide to online first person shooters :r I don't think I care enough to watch :hm Google anyone? :rolleyes:

And its not like I'm running around there crazy just blasting away and painting a big target on my back either. I try and use stealth and good positioning but some of these guys are knifing me from like 20 feet away before I can even get 2 shots off. And some of these long range camper guys kill me. They've got hard-core guns and I don't even know who killed me unless I watch the kill-cam LOL :r

I always feel like a newb whenever I play with ucubed or anyone when I watch them just devastate everyone else.

Exactly ;) A lot of the time I get the award, most time spent around enemies. I have the heart and desire just not the skills. I'm a marathon runner trying to enter in the 100m, no chance.

I tried CoD 4 and I suck. Probably much worse than Dustin.
Now in CoD 3 my average kill/death ratio is more like 30:1 :)

Well I used to compete professionally in FPS games so I guess I have a natural instinct on certain elements of the game. However that being said, position is like 70% of the game..

Here's some info on the first map pack. Not sure if this has been confirmed yet, but according to this video it looks like they redid Overgrown and Crash from MW1 and added 3 more maps. Can't wait for some different maps.

if there were enough players on PS3 or you can do one on xbox, but I would like to do a team tournament for sticks (if it's allowed of course)... up to a 5v5 best 2/3 with alternating choice of map and style with 1 default map and style. Teams would be chosen via random team captain and then done via draft...just a thought

Team Deathmatch is less "team" based other than free for all...you don't really need to work together to win, you just need a very good player to kill everyone

I have a problem with the color tags, and I appear I am not alone. some screens are easy to tell with contrast, some not so much. It sucks.
