Not happy about the hit on Cole's knee... but not ready to call it dirty. Penguins caught the Hurricanes with slow feet tonight - and made us pay. :(

Only positive I can see is we played that poorly and we were still in it. Pens didn't look like world beaters. I like our chances in 7 games. :ss

It will be a good series for sure. Pens looked a little off, like on the power plays, there was something lacking. Both sides sure brought the pain on some of those hits. :r

If the Pens goalie has a "regular" night, it's 5-2 Canes.

Congrats on the win but my money is still on the Canes.

BTW Cooks hit on Cole was worse than Ovie's. And if it would of happened to Golden Boy we would have seen it 5 bazillion times by now.

I completely agree. Fleury made some incredible, and some very lucky, saves in that game. As far as the hit on Cole, I will say it for everyone that doesn't want to. It was dirty.

Look to see more of the same tonight. Just think the Wings can do it again. Pretty sure Chicago will keep it closer tonight though. Just my :2.

If they dump and crash, they will have a chance. If Toews, Kane and Havlat try to wheel and deal over the blue line, the Wings will have 20 more odd man breaks and kill them.

Excellent analysis, Admiral... I think you are dead on. The skill of the Red Wings in the neutral zone necessitates the dump and crash. Hope the Hawks can execute tonight... you know I am pulling for Ladd. :D

Thanks Joe....I think the Hawks know it is the only way they can win. Doesn't mean they will win, just will give them a chance. Hopefully the skill players listen to Q and don't try to finesse a team that they cannot out-finesse. :)

1-1 after one period. Almost a replay of game one 1st period. Now we will see if the Wings can turn it up a notch like last game.

No chance at all. Samuelson just buried it.

Predicted the Hawks would make it tighter. That was to tight. Osgood came up huge in this game.
