Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Good episode for sure this evening. I knew Sophie was gonna be found...and right where I thought she'd be. The whole Shane attitude thing is starting to get on my nerves...someone please shoot him or bite him. :r :r

As for Shane Mac I think him and Andrea would do fine on their own. While his outburst at the barn to me was much needed to show the group that they need to get there act together I still think he flys off the handles. All in all it's gonna be good to see what the rest of the season brings. So far so good. The actors are doing a bang up job too!!!! I love this show!!! |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
If I had to drag a walker a mile to the barn from the swamps and someone shot him as soon as I got to the barn...I'd be pissed. :r :r :r

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Looks like I'll have to watch it at 11. :D

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
I felt like Shane finally did what needed to be done. Hopefully Hershel will realize that he wasn't thinking straight. Especially after what Rick did to the little girl. If anything that should be the thing that snaps him out of what he was thinking. Over all, I really enjoyed this episode, and can't wait for them to pick up in Feb.
1)Do you think Hershel will let them stay around? 2)Do you think Lori is REALLY pregnant, or do you think throwing up the pills didn't work? 3)Do you think Dale and Daryl will finally throw down, or will Dale just keep taking it? |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
I dig Shane.

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
I have been enjoying this season so far but this episode was the best!

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
GREAT episode! I think the second half the season will be a lot more fast paced. I really enjoy this show and this season although extremely different from the first has really been fun to watch.

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Great episode! I was waiting for the girl to come out.
To keep things interesting, I imagine the second half will involve most of the group leaving leaving the farm. Some will stay behind and maybe Maggie will leave with them. I can't wait! |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
I enjoyed this episode, had me interested the whole time.

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Really liked this episode.

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
Great episode!
I think Shane is a psycho (douchebag) and zombies just happen to be readily available for killing. Dale was right, when the shitstorm comes down, then Shanes the man for the job... Survive at any cost! However, Rick seems is built for everything! That's why he did what had to be done! Even Shane has his limits. |
Re: Walking Dead Season 2
<--- Looking forward to February. :D

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
i dont think shanes all that psycho.....
mind you he has a very quick temper and speaks his mind but push comes to shove he has proven himself to be very reliable when it comes to protecting the group. before rick showed up shane was calling the shots and the group was big and happy. it really wasnt till rick got there that SHTF. mind you yes this is a show and it would have made for a very boring show to watch people live in a old quarry but still :r i think shane is just fed up with the fact that they have a place that compared to where they have been is safe and they have the means to survive. i think he is also dealing with the tension between lori and him and also his best friend being back. what he did to otis was wrong and sad but he really did do it for the better of the group. everyone knows that otis would have slowed shane down and gotten him killed. if shane cared about self preservation i think he would have just dumped all the medical gear and taken off. instead he had carl on his mind and did what he had to do. all in all the show to me is really doing a great job of showing MANY MANY angles of what life would be like for a group of survivors after a zombie invasion. this show is really evolving and the writers and actors are doing a great job. cant wait till feb!!! |

Well, to say that I'm caught up in the story is an understatement. I actually got emotional when they had to kill the girl. I pulled myself together, but my wife caught me. I can't believe a Zombie movie got me all tore up like that. Man that was sad.
How about that Steelers game last night? |

Re: Walking Dead Season 2
When you think about it, the first killing by Rick was a little girl on the bike. To end the mid season with the killing of Sofia, it brings it full circle. This is what they were saying on Talking Dead last night. They also said something interesting in that it was Otis who placed Sophia in the barn. He left with Shane for the meds and was zombie food before anyone mentioned the reason they were searching in the woods when Carl got shot. Hershel even said it was Otis' job to put the walkers in the barn. I did catch that when it was said and sort of figured it out before they got to the final scene. Still it was a very good episode.

Great way to end the mid-season. Glad they FINALLY tied up the little girl story, even though it was a sad ending. They drug it out too long. Can't wait for feb.2!
