Yep, just got mine on AT&T's site too after trying on Apple for the last 3.5 hours!?! I preferred to order through Apple thinking the shipping would be more guaranteed to get it early than going through AT&T.

Order placed through AT&T online. The premier site was dead; so I did it through the regular site and will have to get it adjusted at some point. Regardless: 32GB iPhone 4s for both the DrMS and myself.

fair enough. ATT service is pretty good in these parts, so I'm actually looking forward to an improvement compared to Sprint. then again, the grass is always greener....

My contract with AT&T is expired, so I am just waiting for the deal I want from Verizon or elsewhere so I never have to look back.

Squaretrade only pays a max of $499 for whatever iphone you have, so be mindful of that. Then the $50 deductible, and the cost of the plan.
That leaves you at $350 for a phone that costs a lot more to replace.
They'll have it fixed if you don't destroy it, and it's a good deal, just wanted to throw that out there. They won't replace a destroyed iphone, they'll just Ppal $350.00.

can't wait to get one :) the video on the apple site for the new phone is great. It will be my first smart phone, and what an upgrade it will be from a motorolla l7! lol - only problem is, monthly plans here in canada are rape for iphones, and it will probably be 70 - 80 a month + tax or more. I think the unlimited one is 100

If you plan to do this at the apple store, if they do it anything like the iPad they let 4 "preorder" customers and 1 non-preorder customer (which if you ask me was BS since me and all the other people in the pre-order line took the time to do so)

I was able to get our two ordered around 5:30 pm yesterday through apple's website. Got the email confirmations late last night. So I'm cautiously optimistic we may actually have these things delivered on launch day. *fingers crossed*

By the time I returned to my hotel last night, 7/2 was the earliest for shipping, not for receiving.
I figure I will have to do an early wait in line on 6/24 for when the store opens at 7 a.m.
Pack a lunch and some cocktails while I at it.

I ordered 2 this morning.
Won't be shipped until the 2nd. Arriving between the 6th and 8th.
I'd rather wait just over a week than fight with the people at the Apple store.
I'll be in Vegas during that wait time, so I won't even notice.
I do have one on reserve, but I was having issues reserving a second one, so I'll just cancel it.
