I was taught never to pick a fight I couldn't win. I think Mayweather was taught the same lesson.

He has since changed his stance and has said repeatedly over the last year he would fully comply with the tests, just as Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz and Miguel Cotto have done in Mayweather's last three fights.

In a telephone interview with Yahoo! Sports on Monday, Pacquiao made no mention of a purse split, but he was as optimistic about the possibility of a fight with Mayweather as he had ever been.

"I think Mayweather will be next," Pacquiao said, declining to specify why.

But by agreeing to give Mayweather the lion's share of the purse, Pacquiao has shifted the onus to Mayweather.

Same. If it does happen watch the PPV fee be through the roof though. I would'nt be shocked at something well over a $100.

:r I think they both have the same punching speed but I also think Canelo hits harder. Bad thing is I think Canelo is too young and will try to go for the knock out early and that will be his downfall. :2

Voting with my wallet - no mayweather ppv dollars from me till he fights Manny. Although sadly I think time may have run out on what should have been.

Agreed on the window possibly being shut, I am not sure Manny is the fighter he was a couple years ago....sad that this fight didn't happen then. Canelo may have the best chance at this point, but he will need to fight a super intelligent fight.
