I really liked it a lot.
I haven't shot the 9 compact, but I shot the M&P Standard and Pro. I love the size and weight of the shield.

Ok here's the AR build list:

Adams Arms Piston Upper OR Stag DI upper
Spikes Tactical "Punisher" Stripped Lower
Magpul BUS
PSA LPK with Magpul MOE Grip
Magpul CTR or STR stock.

Future add-ons:
Quadrail front end
Vert Grip
Aimpoint PRO

Can't wait. 2 more days of OT til I have the $ for the upper. :D

That is the RTF version of the Glock right? I really liked that look. Do they still make that? Or is it a thing of that past?

Eh stock trigger will be fine. It's going to be a house/defense gun. Most I'd do for the trigger is the Spikes Battle Trigger.

I want an AK too but my department will only let us use 5.56/.223 AR-15 for the rifle class and such. Gonna get some free training out of this, Patrol Rifle class, night shoot class, and active shooter class. :D

No, the RTF or gen 3.5 was uncomfortable so they pulled the plug. I do like the crescent shaped slide grasping groves.

I don't mind it. I'll pick up the spikes battle trigger eventually

To me, it's not an assault rifle unless it's full auto and shoots small caliber rifle ammo.

Don't know if it is a thing of the past or not. Do believe it is the RTF version though I am not sure if it is gen 3.5 or gen 4. How does one tell?

As for uncomfortable? Wow! I liked it because it was more comfortable than my S&W.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

Forget this question, it is the grip expansions for the back (backstraps?) are on the gen 4 and the rest of the changes are internal. Mine is therefor a gen 3.

Notes in red above.

The rtf's were considered gen 3, some called them gen 3.5??! The gen 4 has adjustable back straps, ambidextrous mag release, a one peace captive recoil guide rods (just lie the G26&27) and a different grip texture (not the same as the rtf)and they all come with 3 mags. The dead give away that you have a rtf is the crescent shaped slide serrations.

All my glocks are gen 3, I don't care for or need the adjustable back strap which is kind of cheesy. I think glock should have made the adjustable back straps that they slide in rather then fit over top of the back strap. As a right handed shooter I will also never reverse by mag release, they have the frame hogged out on both sides to accommodate this feature!!(yuk)

In 2009 my gun shop ordered me new gen 3 G22 and what came in was the rtf, I trade it before the month was over cause the texture on the grips was too much and went thru me like nails on a chalk board.

At end of the day If I had to rely on modern pistols any glock would be my first choice, enjoy.

Great looking lower. I picked up a tee shirt for my 14yr old son that has the Punisher logo on it and he had no idea what it was, LOL. The little punk won't wear it, guess its going back.
I just picked up a aero precision lower that I'm going use for my 18" build. Love my ARs. Head over to AR15.com, if you haven't already, great group of guys over there.

Total noob to firearms, but have really gotten into it in the past year. I am on two shooting teams here, and will be shooting in Air Pistol and EIC / Bullseye matches. Other than the .22 for air pistol, I am shooting the 1911 for EIC. Loving every minute of it so far!

Is that a spotting scope built into the partition??

A lot of shooting gun/gear boxes are specifically set up for bullseye type matches and indeed have various ways to build in the spotting scope.

Handled one, no trigger time though. Nice compact size, fans of the 1911 (and the old Colt Mustang) will probably like the P938. Just a hair bigger than the Mustang (and Sig 238) .380 pistols.

I have shot my buddies a couple times he loves it, and it shoots well. I have a hunting rifle already but if I didnt I would consider buying a used one

This looks amazing! Takes regular AR15 mags, can shoot .223 or 5.56 and it's a bolt gun.

Damn nice gun. I had a Super Black Eagle, but it rarely got used so I sold it about 2 yeas ago. Still have my SuperNova pump. That gun is bullet proof. Shoots any shell I feed it. Never a single FTF.
