Prussian Blue, Philip Kerr. This is in the Bernie Gunther series of a German police detective in WW2. He hates the Nazis but has to work amongst them. This is a deeply researched series with recognizable names and a great read both as detective stories and for the history.

Have you read the short story about Shadow visiting England? -- is part of an anthology called Legends II

It takes place a year or so after American Gods.

Little White Lies, Robert Parker written by Ace Atkins. All the good characters and in the style of the originals but missing the full sense of Parker's writing.

I'm a big John Sandford fan. Love the Prey series. I've read all but two or three of the 27.

I've read all of them, the "Prey" novels, and the "Kidd" ones, too. I don't think there was a single one I didn't enjoy.
