Lafayette was set up this whole time to take Jesus' uncle spirit.

Guess I didn't catch that part. I thought it was his grandfather? Help me understand.

Re: True Blood

Didn't see the whole episode on Sunday, but saw when Lafayette and Jesus went to see his grandpa and the possession bit. That was interesting. I wonder what they're going to do with that storyline, and how it's being tied into Marnie (I still hate that beyotch).

If jason becomes a werepanther, he'll end up getting hit by a truck on the road. He's not that bright. LOL But I could deal with Jessica being after me. :D

Wasn't impressed with the last show. It was alright but they are going in 100 different directions and it just isn't flowing for me.

kickerb 08-03-2011 09:15 AM

Re: True Blood

Yeah, it was not his grandfather but, Tio Luca. His grandfathers name is Don Bartolo. Although, we have not been told that is his uncle. I would assume you have read the books? Or did I miss that somewhere too?

I was under the impression that after Jesus was healed, Tio Luca's spirit left Lafayette.

Never read any of the books; I can only relate to what I see on TV.

Re: True Blood

Jessica? Dead? I don't think that is possible. Obviously, Jason saves the day. I mean we did hear a gunshot in the last scene. But that makes me think too, right before it cuts to Jessica, we see the security guard with a gun and not Jason. But then again, I'm pretty sure Jason was in uniform and had a gun too. My money is on Jason.

I still want Eric to die, but I realize that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

The Tommy/Sam bit is getting super old and fast.

The witch portion is slowly getting my attention, it is getting interesting for sure.

I'm also starting to dislike Jesus, not sure why though.

We needed more info about Arlene and Mikey....

Sookie is still boring at the moment, she used to be the highlight of the show, not right now.

Watched the new episode last night. Definitely better then the last. Things are picking up but the cliffhanger wasn't cool. Can't wait for Sunday again now.

Seriously, Sookie and Bill's scenes were super sexy.

Sookie and Eric??? Not so much.

But hey, that is just my opinion :) Everyone's got one.

Man I am trying to get into this season, but I just can't it seems everyone is something now (witches, vamps, werewolves, shifters....ugh gimme a break) Seasons 1 & 2 were awesome though.

Same with Weeds & Nurse Jackie too, just boring now.....here's hoping Dexter, Boardwalk Empire & The Walking Dead don't disappoint.

Re: True Blood

Who gave Mikey (the baby's name I think) that doll? Was it Jessica? I'm trying to figure out how that woman plays into the story line. I get that she took over Lafayette's body, but just trying to figure out where the hell she came from.

Too many sub-plots are going on. It feels like a soap opera and everyone is now supernatual... I keep watching, but I'm not really feeling this season.

a common assessment, there is a whole lot to follow. i freaked when Jessica killed Hoyt , then was relieved to find out she was dreaming.

I did like Jason's loyalty to his bestfriend Hoyt when Jessica tried to get some rebound lovin.

Re: True Blood

I think once again it got back on track for me. Every other episode seems to be spread too thin but I thought this one was good. Interesting stuff going on but still too many mini stories branching off.

Yeah, but damn that musta been difficult to do. He already kissed her, so it won't be long before we get more action from those 2, regardless of Hoyt.

OK, I have had enough of soft Eric and Sookie....even Sookie's nude scenes this week weren't enough to keep me from throwing up in my mouth a little over the mush.

Agreed, wtf was up with the "snow" scene during the middle of the night? I get understand Sookie was trippin off the V (simular to Jason and the chick from last season), but how could Eric be trippin as well? Maybe it was all that Fairy blood...

It was good to see Eric showing signs of his old self during the cemetery fight! But then he got turned into a punk again...

mosesbotbol 08-17-2011 05:14 AM

Re: True Blood

Eric can't be lame for the whole season can he? I want Russell back. Maybe they'll dig him out to save the vampires from witches?

Wanger 08-17-2011 07:55 AM

Re: True Blood

Maybe now that she's not with Hoyt any more, we'll get to see more of naughty Jessica. :D When she was dreaming, I was thinking...WTF?!?! I wonder if she'll turn into some badass working for Bill, now, though, since Hoyt and Jason both rescinded their invitations.

I am really not a fan of the witches. I just don't like them. I know you need to have a bad guy to balance things out, but I just don't like that storyline.

So, the spirit that took over Lafayette...was her man in the flashback the husband of Caroline Bellefleur? I missed an episode, so I don't know if that's been explained.

It would be good to have Eric get his edge back, yet still be with Sookie. Just my :2

Luna's ex is a werewolf. Hmmm....wonder what that kid is going to be like...shifter and werewolf. I sense there will be something with him and Alcide, though, too.

Is it just me or is Sookie taking it all off in every episode this season? Not that I'm complaining, she's on a roll.

Yeah, I figured she changed her mind. She downed some `V` right before, so i figured she was gonna hurt/kill Sookie, but that's not how it played out. So it left me
