Where ya at Braves fan? No comments on picking up McLouth or releasing Glavine?

Re: The Chop Shop

Well I think releasing Glavine was a good move, we should have never picked him back up last thing we needed was another bench warming starter. Especially one who was a traitor and played for that awful orange and blue team :D

I think McLouth was a great move, I think now we just need to start to mesh. The talent is there just needs to be coached out of the players

I agree, I just wonder if he's not getting tired of the ownership not funding the team

Looks like the Bravos may be trying to trade for Brad Penny. If this happens, it could be very cool! Link: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4234548

Re: The Chop Shop

What kind of player is Francoeur four homers 25 RBI ?
We don't need Penny fly ball pitchers are trouble in the AL East, plus the Sox's have pitchers stacked up waiting to come up:D

Re: The Chop Shop

Francoeur has a lot of potential. He is streaky and unreliable. I guess the Braves want to off load him because of his contract. Not sure otherwise. And, we'd happily take Penny off your hands. He'll do well in the NL. :2

Won't be long before Tommy Hanson is up and pitching.

If they trade Penny is making 5.2 million?
The Sox are also talking to the Phillys about a SS they have in the minors supposedly a top prospect?

Tonight marked Bobby's 2000th win as a Brave as well as put us back at .500 for the season. Just 5.5 games back so we are easily still in the race!

I'm still here. I will call for his head until he is gone.

Be careful what you wish for, Steve - the only thing Cox hasn't done in Hot'Lanta during his tenure is win more rings. As a Tar Heel, I can sympatize - hey, it ain't easy.

Re: The Chop Shop

Steve...he has you 5.0 game back with a depleted pitching staff and hitters that aren't getting it done!!! What more do you want?

This team has played very uninspired ball for 2 plus years now. I just think change might be good. It couldn't hurt at this point
