So, how many here are reading on a Kindle? I love mine, but as a librarian I have to have my hands on a real book once in a while. If you find any good books on the Kindle under $5 pass along the recommendation okay?

I love him. He's very talented.

I love my Kindle! Amazon carries a lot of short stories for the Kindle at 99 cents.

There are also a number of free books out there -- just picked up The Count of Monte Cristo, although not ready to start this bad boy quite yet :)

I just finished...scratch that...devoured two of his books. "The Drop" and "The Brass Verdict". He has a new one coming put in November. Can't wait.

I started "Kill Shot" by Vince Flynn a couple of nights ago.

I'm reading it right now on my Kindle Fire and really enjoy it - both the book and the device. I paid 99 cents for the book. Hard to beat all the classics you can get for so little money.

I use both my Kindle and iPad. Just started rereading the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

Fahrenheit 451

It saddens me that I can't find my paperback copy. I've read through it 4-5 times already...oh well. Picked up the kindle version (which it feels weird to pick up a Bradbury book on Kindle).

At what temperature does a Kindle burn? :r

I've recently finished Swann's Way, and have begun Within A Budding Grove. Once I finish that, there will only be five more volumes of Proust to complete.

Swan Peak by James Lee Burke and F-451 by Bradbury for book club. Just finished Wild by Cheryl Strayed. She hiked the PCT solo back in the 90's. Similar to Bill Bryson's hike on the Appalachian Trail

For the first time, brother, or are you prepping for the movie? And have you read the Ring Trilogy, or plan to start after this prequel? Or, alternatively, were the movies sufficient?

Just finished the Count of Monte Cristo and started the Hunger Games, which is a very quick read. I've made it through about a 1/3 of it in what seems like very little time.

I read the whole series back about 10 years ago. I wanted to read something that WASN'T sci-fi to try to get me out of that genre for a little while. Gonna read The Hobbit then the whole trilogy.

I re-watched the Trilogy over Memorial Day weekend. Will be interested to see how much is in the books that I've forgotten over the last decade :tu
