Tabacos El Triunfador petite whatever. (I'm bad on remembering size names.) Laid in several for short duration smokes. Thirty-Forty minutes of tasty.

Tom's love of taco's inspired me today.
1st up - breakfast taco - sumatra (strong little bomb) Only a couple of weeks rest, I'd like to see how these age.
2nd - street taco - carnitas (mild,super smooth and easy smoking. Grew up to medium by the end of the stick) - excellent ROTT
3rd - street taco - barbacoa (right strength and great wrapper) - for sure can see why these are popular and I suspect will get even better with a little age.

I should have changed the order to 2,3,1 IMO, but all were very good and very different.

I liked the Barbaco best and snagged 2 more boxes at famous. On sale 30% off is a no brainer. Made sure to check out before posting this so you guys dont buy em out. LOL

Keep seeing these mentioned recently. I've been trying to get through some of my stash over the past few years so I haven't been keeping up on the "newer" cigars. Might have to give these a look. Thanks for the mini reviews.

DE Undercrown robusto last night while having a bonfire. The weather was so nice I couldn't resist having a fire. Always nice when 40 degrees feels like 70 after a long winter.

Started with a Don Kiki Brown Label. Sadly it tunneled and was a mess. Pitched it and switched up. Lit a RyJ Reserve toro. Tasty and burning like a champ.🤤

They're a newish brand. They have a Habano, Oscuro, Corojo, and some limited releases of which I've only tried one...The Jolly Walleye. All have been really good, but the Jolly Walleye is a big standout. A very unique blend that you don't come across often. The Corojo was very good too. The Habano and Oscuro offering more typical flavors/aromas. Yada yada yada....If SB still has Jolly Walleye's I'd grab some. You will not be disappointed, and if you are I'll gladly buy them from you.:tu

Went with a VR Don Alejandro and a H Upmann Sir Winston this weekend.....both '14 or '15 I think and great smokes. They kinda make me sad every time I smoke one though because I know I won't be buying anymore. Don't think DA's are around anymore and I can't afford Sir Winnies these days lol.

I know exactly what you are feeling. Several years ago I, through my own fault, lost all of my old stock that I had been saving, in some cases, for over a decade. Stuff that I'll never see again.

I had to start back over from scratch. I'm my collection more manageable, but still I've managed to collect a few extra tasty, no longer produced sticks.

It is sometimes a really hard decision to punch one of those knowing that it'll be the last time I get to taste it.

Finished off my night with an AF 858 Rosado sun grown. 858 SG's are a pretty reliable stick for me. They never knock my socks off, but every single one I've ever had has been a good smoke.

Haven't smoked an 858 in quite a while. But in all the years I can't remember getting a bad one.

Not always the case with sticks that cost 2-3 times as much.

Smoked the "standard" 858 SG tonight.....noticeably better than the Rosado SG 858 in my opinion. I'm thinking I need to buy a box of these again.
