I just finished an H. Upmann Coronas Major. It was my first smoke in 10 days and it was mighty tasty. I think these will be outstanding if I can let them sleep for a few years.

Yesterday I attended the funeral of my grandfather. So after the service we spent time with the family until the afternoon. Then I went to a buddies house to enjoy a '99 Monte 'A' to celebrate the wonderful life my grandfather had! He will be dearly missed!

I just smoked a '98 Punch Corona while on lunch break. It was pretty good. The batch I have is not quite as rich as the '99 box I burned through. I think they might need to get acclimated to my humidor.

My redemption cigar will likely be a Davidoff Special R when I get home.

Today I am about half way through my first Lusi (thanks Vin). It is awesome. The last few months I have really fallen for the Partagas flavor.

Fuente of some sort. (4.5 x 50) green label band, cedar wrapped, and a light (connecticut shade?) wrapper. It was God-awful. Not what I expect from Fuente.

I was afraid of this cigar, and it sat in my humidor for several weeks, but I gave it a go tonight. Great smoke even though the burn was a little uneven.

I didn't turn green, and the room didn't spin around either. I'll be picking up more of these. :cb

Didn't feel the need to start a whole new thread but thought I would add my review to my post.

Perdomo ESV 91' Maestro Cameroon Tubo Smoked it last night actually. Beautiful presentation the enameled black and gold tube is quite handsome and I will be using it as a single cigar carrying case. This is a big, solid cigar with a flawless wrapper and a large black and gold band. I have to admit few cigars have impressed me as much as this one in appearance and construction even unbanded and with out the tube.

Used a punch cutter and had a clean deep cut. Very little prelight smell. Charred the end with a torch to light. Initial tastes are strong spice but almost no pepper. Tingled on you lips with a little burn.

Prolific, big, chewy smoke. Great for smoke rings. Full bodied and full flavored. I can't really describe the specific flavors. It didn't change a lot over the course of the smoke but the flavors were very smooth and quite good.

Burned clean and requried no touch ups. The ash was very very fine and had the coloring and look of concrete. I did have to purge this quite regularly as it could get bitter and it was quite strong. Got a touch of the wobbles when I got up and went to the can.

At 15$ a stick there are other cigars I prefer but I would never turn one of these down. My favorite Perdomo is the ESV 91' maduro which is a delicious smoke. The Cameroon may very well be a better cigar and smoke but my personal tastes run toward the maduro. If you are a Cameroon or Perdomo smoker I definitely recommend giving these a try they are a damn fine cigar.

Gurkha Centurian. Pretty darn good. Right at the beginning of the 2/3 I got a few draws that tasted like roasted peanuts. Very nice. I wish that flavor note would have lasted longer.
