I like a couple of their tobaccos, but the bostonian is by far my favorite of the blends they offer, it has a great balance and flavor. let me know if you want a few bowls full to try.

I know I'm brand new to pipes and only have smoked some Prince Albert and Carter Hall but today I stopped by the shop here in Yakima (had to take a Soldier into town) and bought a tin of Peterson's Old Dublin on a whim to try something else ---

This stuff stinks! How does it smoke and taste? Will my wife think I'm smoking something dead?

How does the '11 compare to the '00?

The '00 was mild, smooth, and sweet, the '11 was spicier and bolder, with a bit more of a bite.

Considering taking another shot at the Peterson's Old Dublin. Will let it set a while first.

Guess I need to get some glass jars to put my tobacco in and get them out of the Tina and plastic baggies. Told my son that he and I need to build a pipe shelf for my growing collection.

I went a little nuts over the weekend...bought a new Frog Morton (my 1st) and had a bowl of that last night - awesome!
I also bought several other ounces from the shop I was at...and an unfinished Nording

Re: Whats in your bowl?

Enjoyed three bowls yesterday while waiting for the turkey to cook. A bowl each of the house blends that Isaiah sent me with the Duca Carlo and house blend Irish cream from a B&M in Yakima Washington (don't like that one too much)

Going to call and order some Boswells blends this week

It was really nice to be able to get up, walk away and do something and just come back and relight without the taste that usually accompanies a cigar that has gone out and sat a while

Lazy Saturday, after thanksgiving and then decorating the house yesterday.

Sitting on the lanai reading with a glass of Sam Adams Winter Larger and a bowl of Peterson's Old Dublin in my new to me Duca Carlo.

Will not too sure about the Peterson's Old Dublin. Has a flavor that I have not yet decided if I like.

"Tin Description: This mixture is based on the cool, smoky aroma of Cyprian Latakia with Golden Virginia and sweet Greek Oriental Basma grades."

Don't know if it is the Latakia or the Greek Oriental
