I was charged for my 3JC's order, so I asked them via email if my order had shipped. I received an incomprehensible email and it pretty much said check my spam folder for USPS email if it had shipped. I ordered a box of lil' monsters and 5er of mexican experiments.... Not sure if I'll get any of them.

So my brother and I pre ordered a box a couple weeks ago. He was going to order them and I was just going to give him cash for my half when I get back home in July. I asked him today if he had heard about when they might ship. When he got online to check the order status it turns out that he never even ordered them! All he did was put them in the shopping cart and he got distracted and forgot lol.

So now we are on a waiting list. :gary

Well I just placed an order of the minis at Holts. It was too late to call and ask/order with a person so I just did it online. It showed that they were still in stock so I pulled the trigger. Crossing my fingers.

I noticed today that my card was charged as well.

I told them that if the order doesn't ship tomorrow that they are to cancel it and refund my card.

I'll never order from them again either way

Why does that shop charge your CC up front if they don't have the boxes in front of them to sell in the first place?

That's not a good practice in general. Not just for cigars, but for any purchase. I'm ok for leaving my cc info and they can charge me once they arrive and ship out, but no way would I be ok with them charging me up front.

Ender--I have done business with Holts for almost ten years and never had an issue with delivery or their "in stock" inventory status. They still show them as in-stock and first on the samplers list.

3J's is one of the shadiest companies. Back when they had the Drac dress boxes I called and they said "Yeah, we have them, but you have to buy a box of regular Tats as well to get one." So, I bought a regular brown box of Tats and then they decided that they were out of stock of the ones that I bought so it took them an extra week to ship out the box once they got it in stock. I don't know why they didn't just tell me they were out.

Yeah, I meant the Face, not the Drac. Yeah, I bought the Noellas because I got caught up in the hype. I still enjoy the Noellas, but I just hate paying full price for Tats when I can get them cheaper.

I think 3J's was the store requiring people to purchase the ridiculously overpriced Wolfman lighter in order to buy a dress box. It's just really shady tactics and I'm amazed they're charging people's cards when they don't even have the product they're claiming to be selling.

Corona had been doing the same thing. Glad empire was able to hook me up. I dont know why but I have always seemed to have issues with corona. Not that the service is bad but the website is always the root of the problem.

I thought the Frank was. It had a twang to it that I haven't found in the regular Franks. I attribute that to it's freshness. Besides that, it reminded me of the original.

I tried the Mini-Mum since it's the new kid on the block. It was a good smoke. I remember getting lots of white pepper flavor from it.

The Lil Drac to me didn't really remind me of the original. I actually like the original Drac, the way it tastes different right off the bat, no pun intended! I just didn't get it from the Lil Drac I smoked. Maybe it was a dud and the other one will be closer in flavor. We'll see.

I didn't try the Wolfie or Face yet. I'm going to let those sit. I didn't like the original Face until a year after it came out. Now they're smoking great. I'm hoping the same holds true for the Wolfman. The one I had of those was horrible.

I had the mini Frank and I was underwhelmed. I pitched a quarter of it. I loved the original Franks. Maybe I just got a dud.

So I was mistaken, I make two orders from 3j. The first was the Little Monsters, which have not shipped. The second was a 5er of Viaje MOAB. The MOABs got here today, I just emailed 3j and asked them for a status update.

It's their policy to charge a CC on pre-orders in order to reserve a spot, they don't have any in stock and I should be patient.

After I started laughing to myself like a looney up in Togus, I told them to cancel the order.
