I've been sticking with a bling'd out SCAR w/ RDS and silencer, steady aim and stopping power. That's what I use most of the time and works well for run 'n gun and long range too.

I want to get the akimbo 1887s. Looks like fun or a Terminator T-1000 chasing a car.

akimbo 1887's are a lot of fun, almost got a nuke with using those....and Johnny try hooking up an ethernet directly to your console/pc and see if that fixes it....lag is based on the host since there are no dedicated servers to begin with

Those things are a beast, really overpowered imo. Just unlocked the AK, liking it so far but not as much as the ACR. Think i'm gonna start trying to use the riot shield seriously, one of my live friends has been using it regularly and is a beast with it.

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2

Ive been in a knifing mood tonight so i made a knife class.

UMP
G-18
Marathon Pro
Lightweight Pro
Commando Pro

And have a carepackage killstreak because once you get 4 kills you can pull out the carepackage smoke (like pistols on the original MW) it makes you run just a little bit faster. Hahaha it was so much fun 48-18. I know its know a great ratio, but pretty good for not firing a bullet.

(Also earlier tonight i gave the javelin bug a shot..... dang... good thing that is getting fixed b/c that explosion is ridiculous)

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2

I like using the riot shield on headquarters. It works best on the sub map b/c you can get into a doorway and block all the bullets while your team mates get the HQ

ucubed 12-03-2009 09:54 AM

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2

harrier, ac130, nuke... those are my killstreaks

Yep, I was messing around with it last night. Riot shield, lightweight, marathon, martydom, stun nades, tmp w/extended mags, and throwing knife. Block the window/door, move back when they try to knife you, chuck throwing knife into face, bash if necessary, use tmp on mid range flankers, and repeat :D

so until today, I've been using the nuke when I first get it, because it was so exciting and all the adrenaline getting those last couple kills...but after today I started waiting until the very last minute to use it, just for those extra kills...is that too mean?

What do you all primarily use as a secondary weapon?

Right now I am using a GLOCK 18. I do have one class where I have a stinger to shoot down the damn choppers.

Depends on what i'm trying to do. I like the TMP with extended mags quite a bit for just about any situation, if i'm using last stand the deagle, if i'm going stealthy the m9 with tac knife, jav or stinger for shooting down planes or helis, m101 or akimbo 1887s for nasty close in work.

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2

I Just played FFA match with a 30/8 KD using my m9 and tactical knife. along with marathon, lightweight and commando. But other then that I use the Scar with Holo/FMJ and G18 with Red dot.

ucubed 12-06-2009 01:59 PM

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2

I don't bother shooting things down unless for cold-blooded pro which in that case I'll use the at-4 with scavenger and cold-blooded....if you want to truly shoot things down either danger close or stopping power PRO with scavenger....the at-4 is much quicker, however the javelin is fun to use.....

If my secondary is the machine pistol pp2700 or whatever and the 3 shot burst for any sniper class...before I did prestige I was having fun with model 1887 akimbo....such a cheap class I got straight to an ac130 just running around using it, let's just say the round ended fast with a nuke =D

That sentry gun tore me up. I don't know why me or someone on my team didn't walk around to the other side of the sub and knife it from behind. I got shot like 15 times by the gun b/c I kept trying to throw Semtex at it to no avail.

Yeah but in non hardcore games I need stopping power. I hate having to shoot someone 15 times to kill them. I use cold blooded for hardcore games

Been running through the spec ops stuff with a friend of mine. Just passed like 7 or so missions with 3 stars and a couple with 2. Some of those are TOUGH.

I think I have about 7 or so accolades for most headshots with an assault rifle in the short time I've been playing.

Guess it helps that I always aim for the head :D
