When does the new season of this start? I may be prejudiced, having been a firefighter in my youth, but as far as I'm concerned, this is one of the all-time best shows every seen on TV...

I have looked around and it does not look as though they have even started filming yet. Dennis has some other projects he is working on also.

Last season was good, the season prior was just Mehh, I am hoping that this first episode is not a sign of things headed back down the Mehh road.

THe first scene was great IMO. I was getting tired of the flashbacks and dilusional scenes. The one when Tommy offers to bite the bullet for the team was great. I'm looking forward to the season.

By the way, Janet or Joyce, who likes who, I'm with Janet!

I'm probably in the minority but I would pass on both. I don't need that kind of crazy.

I thought last nights episode was good. I still haven't figured out the ending though.

The ending was weird, at first i was like "ah the good ole tommy we know" but then it flashed again and i was like wait.. did he or did he not, and then credits. Makes you go :hm

I was expecting more, but thought it was ok. There are so many ways that the story line can go... that's what I love about the show.

I've never seen this show, but wonder what you guys think about the commercial for it, with that fanatic Red Sox faithful, and professed Yankee-hater, Dennis Leary, promoting his show with Derek Jeter driving by his crew. :r
