Got digital hygrometer calibrating, got 65% heartfelt beads tube, humidor will be here this afternoon, picked up some permatex glass sealant. Will be ready to start seasoning it tonight or tomorrow!

Getting closer..........

Welcome to CA, I like the style of the Humi. Great start!
You may need to pick up a cooler cheap now that it is cooler off season!

I'm in the process of seasoning my humi, as well. It's like waiting for Christmas :D

Also, I've tried the Kuba Kuba and the Blondie. Wasn't to big on either of them. My favorite ACID's were the Toast and Cold Infusion.

I feel like this newsletter they're going to give to us noobs is...a little more than just a few pieces paper

The Toast was almost like smoking a burnt marshmellow, that's the best way I can describe it.

I'm super excited for whatever it is!

It's been 4 days since I wiped mine down and set the sponge in it...I just want it to be done...

I've had the toast, was alright. The Cold Infusion just left a nasty taste in my mouth tho... took like 3 days to get rid of it.

I don't remember having a bad after taste from the Cold Infusion. I could be forgetting it, though

I'd check the seal on the lid, looks like there is a gap on the back... Use a flashlight, that's a pretty quick test. Just place it in your humidor on the tray aimed at the humidor wall, if you can see light, that's a leak.

Awesome. Good luck filling it, but with the nutheads around here, that shouldn't be a problem.
