Regardless of his double yesterday, Jackson has been pitiful all playoffs, almost an automatic K.

Avila needs to figure something out too.

Joe Buck and TF said they didn't think Young being out of the line-up was that bad with Raburn in. I disagree, especially in a hitter's park like the Rangers'.

You're right on. That said, Cabrera and Martinez need to be better as well.

Detroit Tigers outfielder Delmon Young has been scratched from Detroit's lineup for Game 3 against Texas, manager Jim Leyland announced Tuesday.

Andy Dirks will replace Young.

Leyland said he does not know what Young's availability will be for the rest of the AL Championship Series

Isn't that what that (one specific) homeless guy is constantly chanting outside Comerica Park?

Yeah he did. That's the kind of outing he's had 8 of 9 times after arriving in Detroit. His numbers were actually better than Verlander's for the last 6 weeks or so.

Both Delmon Youn and Victor Martinez are in the starting lineup for Game 4.

I actually heard that on yesterday's broadcast, believe it or not.

Inge homers against Ogondo!?!?!

Crazy, but it turns out the Tigers' lack of timely hitting kills them again. They should have won that game before extra innings. Hopefully Verlander can keep hopes alive until the bats wake up.
