Congrats on the win guys. I'm appalled at how our fans in the stands have been reacting as of late with the booing and all. Tomorrow will be a great game:tu

Third game of the year that I've been able to watch. ESPN is worthwhile sometimes. About time they had a game on that didn't have the Yanks or Red Sox.

Good news it is in St. Louis, so its not blacked out in this area. If it were at GABP I would be forced to watch the guys on FSN. Plus I don't have to listen to the homers on FSN tell me that Drew Stubbs is a future All-Star. :tu

Re: Red's Fans Check in

Now you can listen to Larkin in the pre-game show.:tu

I like to turn the sound down on the tv and listen to Marty call the game on the radio. Best option. He pulls for the team but he's not a homer.

Re: Red's Fans Check in

Damn that sucked. EV pitched a great game, he just let Molina get to him and that won the game.

Bruce looked like a little leaguer at that last at bat. Straight down the middle with two strikes and he struck out looking.:td

I will give credit to the ESPN team for having an interesting an informative play by play and commentary team tonight. I miss Miller and Morgan, but Valentine, Herschieser, and Baldy did a great job tonight.

I also liked the broadcasting team, except that they are like every other broadcaster where they blow Pujols too much. For God's sake, we all know he is good.

Ever since Phillips pulled that ***** move last year against Molina, Molina has been making him look like a fool. That two game winning home runs since then.

They talked about Votto just as much yesterday.

Jay Bruce and Stubbs love striking out. Gomes is starting to pick up the old strikeout bug too. Swing for the fences and whiff or watching fat pitches right through the middle. Seems like the only guy who is selective at the plate is Votto right now. :td

It seems that most broadcasters hate the Reds. On Saturday, Joe Buck was pathetic when Joey hit his HR. He just said "There is a HR by Joey" in the most monotone voice. When the Cardinals (forget who) hit one, he sounded like he was going to jump out of his seat. Screw Joe Buck.

;s All the announcers can't be Reds homers. Just like every announcer is on the Yankees :td

I agree. I thought it was well balanced. We heard plenty of talk about Votto, Phillips, Bruce, Rolen, and Volquez last night. If anything, they spent more time on the Reds than they did the Cards.

Ryan Braun is a G though, its ironic that the Reds can't lock up Votto like that. :hm

Going to be interesting to see how Mike "Free t-shirt" Leake responds to his first road start after jacking 6 t-shirts from Macy's. We'll see how the fans bust him up about it, could be pretty funny. :tu

Kind of nice to see all 3 of the Reds outfielders move into the top 25 in strikeouts this season. These guys aren't too selective, and elite pitchers (luckily the division doesn't have many) eat these guys alive. :bh

Great game last night, thanks to waffle for the tickets. :tu

Stubbs and Bruce are complete garbage. Its a wonder Joey Votto has any RBI's with these two clowns batting in front of him. O'fer combined, Dan's boy was a solid 0-5 with 3 K's himself. :bh

And how did they do in the game? And how about the two more strikeouts later in the game? Why does Joey Votto, who leads the team in batting average, OBP and slugging, have only 16 RBI's? He is in the top 10 in most batting statistics but is 47th in RBI. Stubbs and Bruce have a lower OBP than Votto and Phillips have averages and all three of their outfielders are averaging over a strikeout per game. :hm

A very nice play to be sure. Too bad the rest of the game was a complete let down. Two more strikeouts for Dan's boy, now tied for 4th :td

Stubbs and Bruce are slowly coming around. Maybe they will start getting hot now:sh. Looks like we are on a small winning streak. Bailey was decent yesterday, and Rolen is almost back. Whether he performs or not will be an issue, but just being on the field will provide a bit of support for this team. Oh, and Gomes needs to sit and let Heisey get a bit of time to show us what he can do.

Stubbs did mess up on that catch, but remember that he did get a clutch hit to give us the lead going into the 9th...
