OK- if you want to do this like last year:

Send a fiver to the person ahead of you in the standings once they are finalized. If you can't figure out who that is, post here and say so. Winner doesn't have to give up any smokes.

If you have a different idea, just lmk!

Thanks all for playing- it does make the season more interesting- I find it a great excuse to pay more attention to the games than I would otherwise!

Just going to throw this out there to see if it sticks. What do you guys think if the teams that did not make the playoffs send a premium fiver to the team that won. Shilala would get 20 sticks. Then the teams that lost in the first round of the playoffs send a fiver to the team that got second. Predators would get 10 sticks. Then the team that 4th would send a 5er to the team that got 3rd. mkarnold's mashers would get 5 sticks. Just my idea on how fantasy payouts should take place.

I checked out to see what we decided to do last week because Andy mentioned a prize to me, and I had just plain forgot what we agreed on. We agreed on a premium fiver and troop fiver(less Hugh's shaving guys). At least most guys did and nobody disagreed, not that anyone would. It's the way we always do this stuff.
We never discussed a second place at all, so let's toss that idea.

I'd like for all the winnings to go to Andy, and I'll be sending him a real nice premium fiver myself. I told Hugh that last week, and wanted it to be a surprise for Andy, but he screwed it up by already asking that his winnings go to the troops.
Andy always gives and gives and gives, I think we should whole-heartedly refuse his request and see to it that he enjoys being the guy getting the love on this one. He has certainly earned it, by anyone's view.

On the troop sticks, I have a thought.
Rather than everyone send two packages, why not send the troop sticks along with Andy's fiver, and he can gather and forward them to Hugh? It'd save everyone some shipping, and I'll even pay for Andy's shipping cost if he's willing to do that.
Makes everyone a winner. :tu

That's my thoughts on it, but Hugh should have the final word. He's the commish. I'm 100% with Hugh, whatever he ultimately decides.
But I'm still sending Andy smokes. And I have his address, I do believe. :D

OK- originally one thought was for the lower to send a fiver to the higher, but that was only one option. People seem to be agreeable to Mark's idea. However, there were FOUR first round losers, so let's tweak a bit. OK, here it goes( and I reckon the amounts may vary a bit because of the non CA members:

Iowa Cub Fan, Elderboy, Jenks Anejo, Ninja- send your fiver to blugill(per Scott)

Burners, jledou and hotreds send fivers to blugill

Tampa Torpedos and Base Burglars send fivers to MKArnold.

So we theoretically have a 20, 15, 10 pay-out.

I didn't receive any smokes, and I never heard that Andy received any smokes.
You guys know me, I really couldn't care less about the smokes. I've got WAY more cigars than brains. I don't need any and don't want any, that's why I asked that my winnings be sent to Andy.
I'd just like to know what happened so I can close this out in my little head.
I think it's important that we all honor our commitments. I want to know once and for all if I need to send any smokes anywhere and be all done with this, because I'm worried I may not have honored my wager.
I've never seen a CA fantasy league, or anything like it here, that didn't close up properly. I don't think this is a good time to start.

If anyone needs Andy's address, please pm me. I'm sure I have it here somewhere.
