Re: CA Fantasy Football

Geez, I had two goose eggs and one negative score and still pulled out a win. Of course my QB went and cracked his ribs and one of my WRs blew out a knee so I'm off to a typical fantasy football start.

Off to a good start here, but I'm not counting on it lasting. :)

Whew!! I barely won this time around... Looks like I need to do some team assessment.

4 stinking points. Greg Jennings and Randy Moss were huge disappointments this weekend.

I give up. My team has no hope. I have the TO curse.

I will still start my guys each week, but I know I will finish in the basement :(

Ok, so normally I would never vote against a trade, but I've got to be honest, the one between Dan and Huy is very uneven. I don't think I can let it pass, sorry guys.

Are you talking about the trade I made?

Yeah, Steve Smith for Santana Moss and Kyle Orton.

Re: CA Fantasy Football

To be honest, I thought the other trade is a little off, but I never vote against a trade unless it is totally absurd (someone dumping their team, someone trading for someone hurt, etc.)

Trading his best receiver and a middling QB for a receiver with half the production.

Cigargal 10-08-2009 09:52 PM

Re: CA Fantasy Football

Also, the two wide receivers are fairly even but throwing in the QB makes it lopsided.

PeteSB75 10-08-2009 09:56 PM

Re: CA Fantasy Football

If both parties post agreement and no-one else objects, I will push the trade through. I won't be around tomorrow night until late, but I will take care of it Saturday morning.

elderboy02 10-08-2009 09:57 PM

Re: CA Fantasy Football

I am fine with the trade, but I really don't care what happens. Whatever you all decide. :)

PeteSB75 10-12-2009 09:05 AM

Re: CA Fantasy Football

Looks like it went through on it's own.

On another trading note, I seem to have an over-abundance of running backs atm, if anyone is interested in a trade. I'm looking for a mid-good WR and/or a QB upgrade. Ray Rice, Marshawn Lynch, and Kevin Smith are all on the trading block. Rice and Smith have a week 7 bye, along with Chris Johnson - who is not available, so I need to make a move somewhere.

That would be me. Close game thanks to Manningham posting a goose egg.

You are correct... My week 9 byes kicked my ass this week. The players that I typically play every week did oustanding though so I can't be to hard on them. :r:r

I'll be back with a vengeance next week. :su

Re: CA Fantasy Football

What a great time for the injury gremlins to hit. First I lose Ronnie Brown for the season so I pick up Ladell Betts to replace him and then he goes and blows out his knee. In the space of a few weeks I've gone from feeling confident that my team had a shot to doubting that I'll even make the playoffs. Oh the joys of fantasy football.

Looks like a 3 way tie for 8th place after the scores get finalized.

I took down the first place team without taking Benson out of my lineup :r

4 way tie for the lead right now?! I think that's what they call parity.
