I've had many of them tell me that. I know what plume is. I've seen it a number of times. I see mold 10 times more often, and they do NOT look anything alike.

It doesn't affect the taste in any way. It's just a sign that the cigars have been stored well, that's all.

it's sort of mold.. The bottom one looks like you had a spider build a nest under the band.. If you see a bunch of small bugs coming out, it's not beetles.
