So this bad boy comes with some wheels... I was wondering if anyone else with this actually put them on it to move it around when needed?

Just put the wheels on. If you need to move it for some reason, like to dust or something, just wheel it out of the way.

After starting to get it seasoned I realized that I tend to keep my house rather warm and the humi is at about 73-75 rather than the 70 i normally aim for...should I be concerned and if so I'll just move it into the basement which is keeping the other humis at just about 70... Any guidance would be appreciated.

I'm hoping the other Brothers will chime in but without temperature controls, your humi should take to your room temp, Steve. So unless you want to lower the temp in the house, I think your destined to stay acclimated to the room.

If you are keeping NC's then 73-75 should be fine. For CC's you are safe as long as it does not get any warmer. Otherwise you might consider freezing your CC's to make sure that any beetle eggs are destroyed.

I have a large half-empty freezer and I may just take to freezing. I really like the ability to have it sitting out as an actual piece of nice furniture... It never even occurred to me that I keep my house warm in the summer and cold in the winter... I'm mainly worried about the summer months because I tend to keep the a/c pretty high to cut back on the 350/month electric bill... I'll have to go freshen up on the freezing techniques.
