Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
I went for the $4-$7 price range. My typical "everyday" cigar usually falls in at about 5-6 bucks.

I don't smoke every day; but I'd say that the majority of cigars I smoke when I get the chance are between $4-7. Except when I get to smoke poo. :D

Those of you who have not tried them should give the CFO Craffiti a try
It's not a Tat but it's a damn good smoke for $2. They also have a line that's not listed on thier site called "Magus" $50. for 25 And that is one Good potent smoke! They don't come wet and young like the #7's |
Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
I'm betting there's a very strong correlation between how much you smoke and how much your "everyday" cigars cost.
I can't imagine smoking 4+ a day at $5+ per cigar. That's $7300/year on cigars alone if you smoked four $5/cigar a day. I'm at about 1 to 2/day and I cringe when I have to toss a $5/cigar unfinished. |
Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
1.00-1.50

Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
I don't have an everyday cigar, I like to smoke different smokes.

Around $6

Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
I'd say that when I buy I try to keep my average about $4. Some higher priced sticks, some lower.

Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
smoking 4-6 a day I tend to lite up a lot of Flor de Olivia 8 x 52 bundles at $39 for 25 stx, so it's about $1.50 ea.

Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
Depends on the day and the time of year (smaller cigars in the winter). Mostly $5+ in general.

Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
I pay about a buck each. I look for the steals and lowball bids on cbid. For example, in the last 3 weeks I paid a buck or less at cbid for fivers of
La Aurora Leoninos robusto Fonseca Vintage Selection robusto Punch London Club Troya #36 perfecto TdS robusto Nestor Reserve lonsdale Yeah, none of them are top shelf, but they are good everyday smokes. I also nabbed a sixer sampler of Gran Habano robustos for $7, an eighter of Sol Cubano Cuban Cabs for $15, and a 3-pk deal that included 1 Pepin Black robusto + 1 Man-O-War Churchill + 1 Camacho 1962 churchill for $5 (cigar.com catalog offer). Add to that the freebies from local B&Ms, and I am what you would call a damn cheep bastage. That's OK cuz I smoke between 1 and 3 per day on a tight budget. :ss |
Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
If I was paying retail singles price it would definitely be in the 4-7 range but most of my everyday sticks are bought by the box. Box math gets them down to 3-4 bucks a pop.

Re: How much do you pay for an "everyday" cigar?
I'm still waiting to hear what the $0.78 cigar is. :D
Me...under 2 bucks. Took me a while to find a decent "spread" of cigars at that price, but they are out there. Smoked quite a few duds along the way. At the other end, I set my per stick limit at $8, CCs or NCs. As a workin' stiff with a lot of bills, it would be financially irresponsible of me at this time to pay more than $8 for something I am going to light on fire. Truth be told, I haven't found a cigar yet that I thought was worth $20. |
