Re: Tatuaje T110

Yeh I finally talked to Marvin last week.

It appears these have been rolled three times, all the same blend. I guess they had enough tobacco for 200+ boxes but only rolled 40 boxes or so the first time around (I think in June/July).

Then another 35-40 boxes were rolled around August that became Marvin's secret stash.

The remaining 160 boxes were just starting to arrive when I talked to him last week.

I guess Pete is considering launching more sizes in this brand, but the T110 size will be reserved for Marvin.

The original order was for 400 boxes, however they only had enough tobacco at the time to do 200. Marvin received and sold those 200 back in July.

He received 40 more last month (November) and the final 190 this month with shipping set for January. (Pete kept the other 10 boxes).

I got an email from Marvin this morning, he has a box for me if I want it. Hell yeah, I want it.

The cigars were rolled in two batches only. The dates you see are shipping dates. We still have 36 empty boxes and enough cigars to fill them from the second batch sitting in Nicaragua but no bands. So we are packing them in foil paper without bands. I think Marvin will be keeping these for his local Hawaii clients.

This is a cigar that is on my must try list but can't find them in my B+M. Anyone have any ideas where to source some or one?

I got two boxes from Marvin back in July. The first box is almost gone and box #2 is tucked way in the back of my cabinet aging nicely. Great smoke!

Don't say that because I look at this stick as being unattainable and hearing things like this make me want to go on a mission.

Thanks for filling us in Pete, I can't wait for my part of Steven's split, it will be my first try of the smoke.

I had one the other night and it didn't feel at all the same. The wrappers don't seem to have the same tooth either. i guess I'll have to see how they age.

The original release wrappers are oily and shiny. If the stick on the left is original, then the difference just can't really be seen well in these pics.

Had one of these Monday, it was shite. It was so bad you need the e at the end of **** to describe the badness.

Re: Tatuaje T110

The stick on the left I received at the end of July. The one on the right I just received from another BOTL, so it may be the 1st release, but he was getting a box from the 2nd release, so I'm pretty certain these are from different releases. I can check my other sticks, but I think they are all pretty similar. There probably is some box variation, so I just got sticks that look very similar.
