I have some late 90's stuff like HDM but I was in a reputable cigar shop in Niagara Falls (Canada side) that had many Cubans from the the 50's and 60's. Some were not for sale. What an amazing selection or rare stuff. He had the
"regular" stuff in the front but you had to go in the back to see the good stuff. I felt honored he gave me the tour.

Oldest I had was some pre embargo Don Candido and Partagas. I paid proper respect to them by burning them one by one.

Oldest I have in my possesion right now are some clear havanas from the 50's.

Oldest "good" cigar I have right now are a few Partagas and SLR from the 70's and 80's. They are quickly disappearing.

Oldest Cigar I bought and age myself are boxes of Monte #2 from 2005 and Party D4's from 2004.

I have a Jamacian Macanudo from 1992 that a friend gave me a while back. I'm sure it's spent, but I ought to smoke it anyhow. Otherwise I've got various CC's from '98 & '99.

This thread could really benefit from some pictures, but I'm not really one to be making requests. I don't have anything even close to the vintage category.

If I'm gifted or buy a old cigar,I smoke it.

I like this concept. I myself behave much in the same manner. However, I'm never rich enough to buy old cigars.

Well, I go to NC about once a month to visit family and I always stop by JR Cigars right off of I-95 and have bought some of their vintage cigars. I have some 1990 H. Upmann Cameroon and some 1999 Hoya De Monterrey.

Hmm, I don't think I have anything over a year old in my humidor :r. I just recently upgraded to a larger humidor, so I have a couple sticks I plan on letting sit for a while. I can't believe some of the aged sticks some of you have :dr

I think this post could benefit more from a taste test and a review. I will be happy to volunteer and take one for the team, just send them my way and I will be happy to let you know how they smoke.:D

I still have a couple of Esplendas that I brought back from a trip the summer before my daughter was born...1999. Not sure how old they were at that time and someone else got the box.

Check this out... I still have the Anejo #49 (2/28/07) I won from Dgar in my first ever contest on CS. Who knows how long he had it before...

I know its not ancient like some of the other post, but its the oldest in my collection and still pretty special.
