Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. The first thing I do today will be checking my Powerball tickets this morning to see if I won (fat chance as I have a better chance of getting hit by lightning twice). Being that today is Thursday, we'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening enjoying primo stogies and catching up on what's new. I thought it was there year to win it, they were so close and yet, so far. Anyway, there were some good NFL games on yesterday which helped ease the pain. It was being televised around the world and I hope they raise a lot of funds for the Robin Hood foundation in relief of Hurricane Sandy. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on this wintery Thursday morning. We got a good 3 to 4 inches of snow last night and then on top of that, there's a coating of frozen rain and sleet. I'll be going out shortly to shovel the walkways and driveway as well as cleaning off the cars. Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0345 as we had an Adverse Weather Conference Call as a result of the snow / freezing rain and sleet from yesterday. They called a code "red" yesterday at 1030 and thank god they did as the roads got real bad going over Storm King Mountain and all. Things are fine now as the temps are above freezing and there's plenty of salt spread on the roads now.
