Benoit was a great set up man except for giving up a HR every other appearance. I'm not sold on him, but he might be the best of what little we have. :r |

Scherzer wins the A.L. Cy Young. Who wins next year, Fister or Sanchez? :D

Understand the implications for resigning Max, Mike, but I still don't like it. Gave up a lot of production when our middle infield seemed pretty solid.

Re: MLB 2013 Thread
I think its a lot to do with salary as well as Detroit knowing Cabrera is much less of a liability at first base. Now is that enough to get rid of a guy like Fielder? I'm not sure it is. Gotta say this one blindsided me and I follow the AL Central pretty closely.

Re: MLB 2013 Thread
Kinsler is an upgrade to Infante...more speed and power. Now allows VMart to play first and looks like they still need a DH.
Or you could take Ike Davis/Lucas Duda off our hands. :r :r |

Twins finally spending some money on some decent arms. Couldn't get much worse than last year.

Re: MLB 2013 Thread
Tigers trade Doug Fister to the Nationals for some scrubs.
If we can just send Cabrera, Verlander and Scherzer to the Cubs for Dave Kingman, the downfall will be complete. |
