I've read a number of books by Robert Crais. All of them page turners. I prefer the Elvis Cole series to the Joe Pike series but both are good.

Finished up Dan Brown's Lost Symbol last night. Entertaining but still liked Angels and Demons better. The one thing it does make me realize though is that I do need to take a trip to DC to check out the monuments and the Smithsonian.
I also started reading Atlas Shrugged on my trip last week.

I've read them all, one of my favorite authors. Agree, like the Cole over the Pike, but that is the direction he seems to be going in.

I hear ya. I've been fighting it since it's release date. I put it down. Pick it. Repeat times infinity. It's the worst part about a series, you feel compelled to continue whether you want to or not. Maybe I'll put it on the shelf and move on to Stoned, Naked, and Looking in My Neighbor's Window: The Best Confessions from GroupHug.us

Re: What are you reading?

I've been reading a lot of economics lately and was in the mood for a historical fiction. So, I picked up Interretation of Murder by Jed Rubenfield. It's a turn of the 20th century novel about Sigmund Freud's only visit to America. Didn't know anything about the book or the author. It's nothing heavy and total fiction but I really like it.

Happened to see the author interviewed on television totay. He has just written a new book called The Death Instinct. It has some of the same main characters and is centered around the 1920 terrorist bombing of Wall Street. It too will probably be on my list sometime soon.

I really enjoy historical fiction. Jack Whyte is my favorite. Camulod Chronicles and The Templar trilogy are both excellent. Knights! Camelot, King Author and the Knights of the Templar, awesome reading.

I'm currently reading two things. I have to read Fun Home for my English class. It's a graphic novel and not something I would typically read, being a student sucks. However in my free time I'm enjoying more Vonnegut, my favorite. This time I'm going with Deadeye Dick.

Good read, I would recommend it if you are into the dystopian/science fiction/drama type of book, which I am.

Anyone know of other free stuff along the same lines?

Well Im not much of a book reader, although a great friend of mine just bought me the V For Vendetta comic series...so far it is a fun read, and equally interesting to compare to the movie.

Currently reading the possessed and deadeye dick

the possessed is for school and deadeye dick is just because Kurt Vonnegut is the best. I can't wait to be done with these school readings so I can get back to attacking my book list.

My wife gave me this for Christmas (well, I bought it for myself and gave it to my wife to give to me :D) I'm enjoying the writing more than Sanderson's last--this one feels more like RJ's original style.
