So, the Update for the Kelmac Comfort Crusade, which started at the W/L point of 50-49 is now at 51-50. One win, one Loss.

NMo, For it's those losses, those thirteen inning games that the Mets cruelly start out with a 6 Run deficit in the first inning, and should have just...well let you off the hook...but NOOO! They come back, and then tantalize you for four extra innings...only to add to their 21-12 record for 1 run game losses...adding to your suffering, lashing you across the back with their whip of mediocrity.

You don't see Baltimore fans agonizing like this... They're like, "Hey! Isn't the ornithologically correct bird on their uniform pretty?" "Last place....yeah, been there a while...How bout them Ravens? Shouldn't camp be opening soon?"

It's not the balance of the games...It's those losses that we seek to ameliorate with our maduro bandages for you... The Wins that the Mets do tally only serve to prolong your agony...deepen the wounds.

The KCC math is 1 loss = 1 Stick. period. Quit squirming.

Funny thing is we lead MLB in shutouts with 14...but we also lead MLB in last at bat losses with 13. :confused:
