Hehehe what a trooper.

That's the AR I built for dad. He's kind of proud of it :)

Very nice. Put a set of Trijicon SP-01's on it and it becomes a different pistol altogether.

I've owned 4XD's in my life, and I love'em.

You'll be using a V2 one with the LEM trigger. IMO, I like it.

They are well made and a lot thinner and lighter than other .40's of similar capacity.

Good news!

I agree!

When people ask why I conceal, i say "A police officer is to heavy to carry around".

I do the same. I also say "Because I am licensed by the state to do so."

No idea Ryan but RRA has a lower for $109 which seems like a good deal. Not sure where I'm going with this but it will take some time to save up the money for the lower and upper.

Kinda serious question kinda humorous.

While concealed carrying and you have to visit the porcelain god in a public place what do you do with your IWB carry? I know if I looked over to examine my "neighbors" shoes and I see a gold plated desert eagle I may be inclined to tell the mgmt.

I don't IWB carry much as I usually pocket carry. If I am IWB carrying, I will just keep my pants pulled up higher around my knees instead of letting them go all the way to the ground.

I just shake my head and wonder how far this will go before we actually start blaming criminals for problems instead of regulating law abiding citizens. This does nothing to decrease crime, just a foot in the door. I sent my email to the Guvinator a week or so ago, with thousands of others. What an amazing Turncoat Hypocrite Schwarzenegger is.

LOL I'd be walking so stiffly if I had a DE in my pants, great mental picture there. :D It is a situation requiring renegotiation though. I usually move mine around the side of my belt and keep it about knee level. I've been IWB carrying the Glock fine in the 3:30 to 5:00 general area due to FL wardrobe but don't like how it sticks in my back when I get in the car, and isn't comfortable in a variety of positions so I may be changing up the rig soon. Might sacrifice draw speed a bit for comfort.

.40, but they come in 9 and .357 sig. The p2000 is a lot like the usp compact, which is also available in .45.

I'm going to try out a p2000 this weekend in the .40. I've been drooling over that gun for the past few weeks. This might be my first purchase..

Re: First Firearm Thread.

i have never fired a pistol before until today but from the 2 hours I spent shooting it, it seems like a pretty sweet gun. I don't know about other pistols but with this one you have to pull the trigger back as your extending out so by the time you get your arms fully extended the trigger hits the sweet spot and is ready to fire.

My first firearm purchase was a Ruger 10/22 rifle. You will always remember your first gun :)

Re: First Firearm Thread.

My first was a Marlin 60 about 20 years ago. I went cheaper than the 10/22, but its all good, I sill have the 60, and a couple 10/22's now too.

I also have a Remmy 870 Express. I freaking love that shotgun. I put a new recoil pad on it and it is awesome. :gn

:r

Sometimes I carry in a fanny pack.
If I'm wearing a holster, I've even gone so far as to hang the weapon from the trigger guard on the coat hook on the back of the door.
I've also used the handicap bathroom that has it's own sink and what-not. Plenty of places there to rest it.
If none of those are available, maybe even look for different facilities to use.

Besides... If you're gonna be carrying an LCP, you prolly won't have that problem. Those li'l pugs will fit in your pocket.

I want an LCP but as of now it seems a long way away. Now i have my Glock 27 and its small but bulky and heavy. I do love it though.

Anyone know what the prices for stripped lowers are going for now? I don't really care what brand it is, just as long as it is mil-spec.

Is there rumors of that? I'd love an lcp size/weight firearm that shoots either 9 or .40. I doubt I'd put more than a few rounds through it each range session though.
