I will really miss Daley. One of my favorite players over the years. You will enjoy his skating. Unfortunately, he was really inconsistent in his defensive play as of late. I got the feeling he was trying to be the number 1 guy and that just didn't seem like a good fit.

He won't need to be (or could even be if he wanted) the #1 guy in Chicago, Zach, I am hoping he can put up some numbers like he did last season and shore up the D. I liked watching him in Dallas too, great skater. Definitely sacrificed some defense for offense though.

Oduya must have reeeeeeeeeeally not wanted to go to Buffalo. :r

I hope nothing comes of the Patrick Kane investigation. Don't know how well the dog would take to a name change.

She went to his place, I am hoping it's just a "get rich quick" attempt.

Thought this was cool, good trivia material.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa had two days to spend with the Stanley Cup and made the most of it.

On Friday, Hossa met with fans for pictures at the Hoss Sport Center and had a parade in his hometown of Trencin, Slovakia.

Hossa also spent part of the day with Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara and Los Angeles Kings forward Marian Gaborik, who are also from Trencin. Each of them brought the Cup there after winning it: Hossa in 2010, 2013 and 2015; Chara in 2011; and Gaborik in 2014.

Tom ... Hate to ask this ... Any local news on Kane ??? Basically in the news for 2 days and then nothing .

Derrek

Mostly speculation, Derrek. I guess Kane and his lawyer are cooperating and went in to speak with the prosecutor and police again yesterday. Consensus among non-media types here is Kane is getting railroaded, but I guess time will tell.

Still no charges yet he's losing 'face' with partnerships and marketing opportunities and even losing the NHL16 box spot, I know that's just a video game and he's got real problems but it could take months to charge him with anything and it's just going to become one long media circus.

Awesome, Mike, and couldn't be from a better guy.

And on that note, time to open up a new thread. :ih
