Carbon Leaf (Irishy Folk Rock band from Richmond, VA) came down here to GTMO and performed on the 4th of July. It was probably the 20th time I have seen them and they still rocked. It was nice to have a little bit of home all the way down here.

We Came as Romans, Miss May I, Texas in july, close to home, Of mice and men

It was Came as RomansWe first show to start off the tour in their home town. It was awesome to say the least.

Had tickets to see Tiesto for next Thursday. Got an email yesturday saying it was canceled...... talk about getting lividly mad!

Last show I went to was life of agony the river runs red 20th anniversary tour. What a flashback, made me feel like a kid again!

Well last night was a first for me. Had tickets to The Avett Brothers but decided not to go. Wifey wasn't feeling well and the (outdoor) venue was almost two hours away with lots of rain forecasted. Oh well... We'll catch them next time.

Very cool that they made that trip and played down there. Haven't seen them yet, but they've been on my short list ever since I met a couple of them at a HK's in Chix Beach last year. Now, they're a must see for me. Thanks.

Last concert I was at was Eddie Money. Eddie stumbled out on stage and knocked over his mic stand because he was just wasted. I have to say thought that he sounded pretty darn good and got better sounding as he sobered up on stage.

I have to brag for a minute too. I was at that concert because my band got to open up for him. It was awesome playing for a huge crowd and we got to hang out with Eddie!

Das Racist at the Wiiliamsburgh Music Hall last night. Watching these guys live just gives you the feeling that they are making a monumental impact on the entire genre of Rap music. Dare I say almost Nirvana like....seriously.

I saw M83 a couple weeks back. Fantastic show. The new album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is in the race for album of the year for me.

Saw the Blues Brothers (Dan Aykroyd & Jim Belushi) last Friday at WSU for Dads Weekend. Very entertaining show.
