I renewed my contract with my current tv provider and as a bonus they gave me 6 extra sport channels (and a movie channel) for free, that means free Italian, Spanish, German and English football, watched part of the Chelski vs Man U game yesterday.

Setanta is pretty much done with, I think they ran out of money, ESPN has bought the chunk and will do most of the games this season including CL. And Fox Sports has a bunch of games as well, as before.

It appears they have purchased the rights to 2 games/week but I think it may only be for the tv broadcast in the UK. It shows them as a provider on the epl site for the UK (here: http://www.premierleague.com/page/UK...,12306,00.html ), but they are not listed as providers in the US, Setanta still is (here: http://www.premierleague.com/page/In...384625,00.html ). I also double checked on ESPN's website under their tv listings and I couldn't find any evidence of any games being shown, at least for this week. So who knows what kind of coverage we will get here in the States?

I'm good for whatever too. Anyone else having a hard time finalizing the roster so far? It seems like ESPN raised their prices a bit on most players, especially any starters for 'pool, ManU, and Chelsea. Only 1 day and a half left and I'll pry still change my lineup 3 more times.

I have plenty to say, but I don't want to jinx my boys. We all know how well they look out the box. Gets frustrating watching them falter and then have to celebrate ANOTHER 4th place finish. I know Everton is going through a lot now, but 6-1 one is never good.

How about Ade two minutes in scoring for Mercenary City? If he was that nice more consistently, he would still be in North London.

I have to do it..... Man U? I have to enjoy it while it lasts.

Re: The Official Soccer/Football/Futbol/Calcio thr

I'm pretty sure I read that the way the ESPN broadcast works is that they get to air all Monday afternoon games and then the early start on Saturday. If there is no early Saturday game I don't know how they choose which one to air. They may get to choose, since they seem to always be picking a Big 4 team, although not really what many would consider the premier fixture for the day

Always a stellar match between these two.
Unfortunate that the equaliser was waved off by offside (correct call :().
The officials treatment of Wenger at the end was childish.

It was the correct call. That match just turned so quickly after the penalty. Hard to take after seeing Arshavin get taken down hard in the box in the first half. Oh well. Still a long way to go in the season.

Classic Liverpool. Play completely uninspired football for 80 minutes and have Gerrard rip a late game winner in the back of the goal.
