My first was a Hoyo Du Depute. Great little smoke. Nubbed it. Number 2 is looking to be a Romeo y Julieta Romeo No. 1, another gifted stick that has been hanging around my humi for almost a year.

My last smoke for 2008 was a Vegas Robaina Familiar and my first cigar of the year was a Cohiba Siglo IV.

My new years eve was spent driving from Buffalo back home to Georgia. Very enjoyable. So my last smoke of 08 ended up being a Camacho Liberty on the 30th. My first 09 smoke was a Gurkha Black Dragon.

My first cigar for 2009 ended up being a Partagas Serie Connoisseur No. 1. Not a bad way to start off the new year if you ask me.

Same smoke for both start and end

end of 08 start of 09 smoke Bolivar Gold Medal. I think I have a fav cigar! I'm told they age well and have some sitting... dunno how long till i break them open lol.

First was indeed a Punch RS12 1999, then an Apr 08 Monte 4.

(Memo to self...NEVER AGAIN drink lite beer with a good cigar!)

My last of 08 was an Oliva O Maduro 6 x 60......man I love those!

My first of 2009 was a Carerra robusto compliments of my good friend - shilala. :ss

First was a Free! VSG the shop owner gave me.
Spent the night at west coast cigars with a small but great bunch of regulars. I hate new years though so I was just happy to have a shop stay opne till after midnight with great people, food and smokes.
