What would be real impressive is to have a list of the cigars smoked in all those movies.

Re: Cigars in Cinema
we often have our roller Francisco roll cigars for movies. However, apparently it is illegal to have real tobacco in the actual films. So we roll "herbacco" cigars which are basically Clove cigars for the movies :sad

That's just stupid! How would anyone watching the movie know the difference? By all appearances, the actor is still smoking a cigar. I can't believe that's a law (Well I guess I can, unfortunately, there have been even dumber laws.) |
Re: Cigars in Cinema
I cant imagine the taste. I'm sure its god awful. its also much more expensive than regular tobacco.

Re: Cigars in Cinema
Sorry for not providing the details, but anyone watch the movie "Fearless" with Jet Lee? It was subtitled and released in America not too long ago. The movie takes place in the early 1900's, and after the opening fight scene, around 5:17 I beleive, an old white guy is smoking a cigar. If you pause and look, it's a Cohiba! Didn't know they made Cohiba's back than.
