I'm still scared to death, but I've finally come to peace with all that there is to come to peace with. Pretty much. :)

I love this woman like none other, and she feels the same about me. We think alike, laugh alike, and love alike. All under God.
We're thrilled about the thought of growing old together, and enjoying our one life.
Prayers that I don't lose my nerve, k guys? :D

Nothing else matters, Scott.
Just pull your head out of your a$$ and marry her. Remember that marriage is another word for compromise.

Cheers, Brother. :chr

Congratulations brother. I too was recently engaged and just tied the knot a month ago after spending almost 5 years with the woman of my dreams. Some would say I waited too long, but we've made it past all the BS that usually plagues young married couples, we're financially sound, and we're truly committed to each other.

I have probably never been happier than I was on our wedding day. I hope you enjoy your day just as much. Congrats again!

I was looking to lose my last girlfriend a couple months before I started dating Lisa. It took a bit of effort, but I got her to break up with me. Via text message. :D

No I didn't Alex, not yet. I thought to stop at his house on the way in, but it hadn't occurred to stop and see him today, so I didn't call ahead. I'd planned to talk to him Sunday at family day.
They only live maybe 45 minutes away, so I might hop on the bike and ride over before Sunday.
He's awesome. I absolutely love Lisa's whole family, especially her Dad. I know he'll be surprised I asked, being he gave her away a long time ago. But she's his daughter, and I think it's very important. I know that I'd expect the same, even though kids today probably don't know any better. :)

Always ask. No matter the situation. Unless of course the Father isn't around. It's a motion of Respect and I'm sure it's appreciated by all Fathers.

Congrats again Brother!

I told Alina's father how much I loved his daughter and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her as her husband, if that was alright with him.

And I know three young men that "know better" and will do what's right when it's their time.

Wishing you and Lisa the best that life has to offer.

Re: Welp, I went and bought a ring.

I finally got a chance to ask Lisa's Dad for her hand. He was very happy I did. He has four girls and they've all been married more than once, except one. He said that Frank was the only other guy that asked. He's married to the only sister that's only been married once. I figure that's a real good sign that we have a good start. :)
I asked Lisa to marry me, she said yes, and she loved the ring.
I'm still overwhelmed. I'm ecstatic, but my little brain hasn't even had time to ring this stuff up yet. :)
