Think I have a couple hundred in mine. We just watched 10 items or less,Morgan Freeman. Really liked it. Stepbrothers the other night. Some very funny parts in it. Ok overall. Been watching Alfred Hitchcock presents season one on my Macbook, Mac support recently added woooooohooooo. Counting what I watch online, I would say we watch 20 to 25 movies a month.

Watched The Cleaner(Samuel L. Jackson), Clay Pigeons(Vince Vaughn),Greenfingers(Clive Owen) over the weekend. All three available online.

Wanted and Employee of the month on the way.

Found a program to stream to my PS3 but haven't used it yet. My stepson says it works pretty good.

I have had Netflix for a few years and I love it. I send movies out and two days later my new movies are in the mail box. My only problem is remembering to mail the watched movies back.

I really enjoyed Greenfingers. Watched it a few years ago when Echo and I were on a Clive Owen kick (right after "Closer" came out) and thought it was a very well done movie. Not your traditional flick though. Watched it again about four months ago and enjoyed it even more. If you ever get a chance, check out a flick of Owen's called "I'll sleep when I'm dead". A slow somber movie but well done :tu

Re: Netflix

We had Netflix for a while a few years back but never seemed to get around to watching the dvds they would send us. But since BarneysFunGirl is taking a film class in college, we've just started a new subscription.

She has a lot of film class requirements in the queue (North by Northwest, Do The Right Thing, etc.), but I really like the streaming options. Even though there are less titles available for streaming than rental, I've been able to watch several in the past week that I've never seen--sitting by the fireplace, smoking a cigar, enjoying a drink, and watching good movies on the laptop. :ss

Got Appaloosa, Departed, and Rightious kill on the next delivery. Put adventures of Ford Fairlain on the short list; likely end up watching it by myself, seem to be the only person who found it entertaining.

Departed: Kept me glued to the tube for most of the 2 hour movie, many twist and plots, thought it had a lot of potential and then there's the last 10 min's where it fail to show any imagination. Not on my repeat list. :hm

Watched half of I Want Candy.

Lars and the Real Girl is next.

Watched Righteous Kill. At first I thought it was a so-so movie, but a couple days later it has sunk in that the movie was not good.

Really? I would have given it a 4/10. That's not to say I didn't like it. I've seen it 3 times, but didn't think it was all that good. After seeing the lead in Deadwood it was hard to picture him in that role. I couldn't stop staring at his scalp. Olga Kurylenko was hot.

I really liked it for the special effects. I don't think it is movie of the year material or anything. I guess you could say the movie was more fluff than substance. :)

Also thought it was a good movie! Little bit of trivia, Olga's tatoo changed from the left side of her face to the right in 1 scene. Admittedly it was not one of the scenes she was in that caught my eye. :dr

Looks interesting, can't recall movie with Morgan Freeman that I have not liked. Unfortunately, it's an 'instant movie' may check it out from local video store.

I'm in the middle of a documentary called "The Bridge". It's about people who have committed suicide off the Golden Gate bridge. It has actual footage and is chilling and moving. A great watch so far.

Yeah, there were a few funny parts. I guess I was disappointed how you didn't get to see Miri naked in it. :D

Re: Netflix

I dropped Netflix a couple years ago because they were throttling me. I usually sent the movies back the day after I received them and at first it only took 1-2 days turn around. Turn around time got longer and longer until it was almost a week between them. So, it is unlimited rentals, unless you try to test the limits. Then they slow you down. The max, with the 3 at a time plan, seems to be about 20 movies a month that they want you to be able to rent. My girlfriend signed up not too long ago. Seems to work well for her cause she always forgets to watch the movies or return them and is only watching about 3 a week so the turn around stays fast.

I really like this feature as before I would have to watch a streaming movie on my PC. Now I can watch them on my tv!! Very cool feature and with my plan I can watch an unlimited amount of instant movies!
