Re: New York Football Giants!
This disappearing defense is worrying me. But a win is a win.
Looking forward to a Thanksgiving night game! |
Re: New York Football Giants!
Well now that the Thanksgiving Massacre is over ...
I'll be at the Giants/cowboys game this Sunday ... cigars in tow ... and hoping for a big win. |
Re: New York Football Giants!
It is time to look toward 2010-2011 I think.

But I'd still like to see them beat the 'Boys. Again, I mean. :) |
Re: New York Football Giants!
What a great game! Which was of course capped off with a victory cigar. :)
Better yet, I went with a cowboys fan. He wasn't very happy. |
Re: New York Football Giants!
Are we in for a win tonight or a disappointment?
I hope we can pull this off and get turned around but the defensive needs to step up. |

Re: New York Football Giants!
OK Wrecking Crew ... what're your gut feelings? Do the Giants make the playoffs?
I actually think they will win against Carolina and Minnesota because the Panthers are awful and the Vikings won't be playing anyone (unless Brett Favre has his way that is). That only leaves Green Bay and/or the Cowboys to lose one game. WEEK 16: Seattle @ Green Bay Dallas @ Washington WEEK 17: Philly @ Dallas Green Bay @ Arizona I'm hoping that the Skins were so thoroughly embarrassed by their absence against the Giants that they look to put a hurting on the boys. What say you? |

Re: New York Football Giants!
Welcome to the 2010-2011 season Giants fans! That was a good win but all the receivers need to be taken to task for the tip drill.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Nice to see the Giants start the season off with a win. Imagine if Hicks did not drop half the balls thrown to him.

I'll gladly take being tied atop the NFC East. :)

Re: New York Football Giants!
Division seems its ours to lose right now with each team struggling and Giants seemingly starting to click.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Looked impressive against the Texans.
They did better than I thought they would do! |

Very pleasantly surprised at the running game as its the Bradshaw show and its humming along.

Re: New York Football Giants!
Good game this weekend against Houston. Eli's two INTs had me a bit nervous, but the team recovered and looked like a winning team. Two in a row after Big Brother stomped all over them. Hopefully it was a huge wake up call for the rest of the season.

Re: New York Football Giants!
Oh thank you thank you thank you Brett Favre. :)

Re: New York Football Giants!
Now if Philadelphia can choke a bit that would be nice.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Predictions for MNF? What say you all? Will the reeling cowboys dig deep an find something to play for or will the Giants smell the blood in the water and rush in for the quick kill?
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Itll be a battle for sure especially since Dallas is at home and fighting for life support with their coach fighting for his job
I think Big Blue will pull it out though with a steady dose of Bradshaw and Eli being on top of his game rght now. It will be down to the wire and hopefully a better game than last nights snoozer. |
Re: New York Football Giants!
giants for the bowl!
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Romo who???? John Kitna????????????
Go Blue!!!!!!!!!! |
Re: New York Football Giants!
The might be a championship in Texas ... But it ain't gonna be for the cowboys. ;) GO BLUE!!!

Go Giants!!

Re: New York Football Giants!
Nice win for the Giants. They looked pretty sloppy in the beginning. I don't think they expected the Cowboys D to come at them so hard. Eli had over 300 passing yards. Imagine what he should have had without those 3 INTs.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Nice win but a bit sloppy on offense, too many turnovers but thank goodness the defense was ready for anything Dallas had to offer.
Fumbes from each RB was not pretty especially the one where he bumped into a linemans @$$ and lost it. Our "Jet Blue" squad is gonna be what brings us back to Dallas. |
Re: New York Football Giants!
Somebody needs to get these guys some Quarter Pounders so they will stop eating our Quarterbacks.
Romo-sexuals all over Texas today are crying on their clavicles today. |

Re: New York Football Giants!
That's the way a NY Football team represents in a game they're expected to win! I felt bad for Pete Carroll.
Then I remembered that the Giants are staking their claim to being a team to reckon with in the NFC if not the NFL. ;) |
Re: New York Football Giants!
What an awesome game! The entire team looked good.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Great game. I hope things continue the way they are going.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
I took the Giants for my pick to be the NFC in the SuperBowl. I wish I could take my Bears but when it comes to winning SuperBowl tickets I have to air on the side of sensibility.

When I lived in Manhattan I did love the pizza but not the true New York style. The kind that folds over is always way too greasy for me. But the classic brick oven style kind that you find at the good Italian restaurants is perfect and there was lots of that in the city. I love Chicago style pizza but I ate it less frequently just because it's so filling. I, again, usually ate the more hand tossed smaller brick oven style pizzas there too. Pequod's in Chicago though is like heaven in a pan. Sigh. That being said pizza in Texas is a TRAVESTY. It's like ketchup on cardboard glued together with grease. BLEEEETCCCCH. I can't eat more than one piece without feeling ill. As for the Giants I thought it was a good call. Aside from having Eli and a crazy defense this year they have a tendency to sneak up on people and terrorize them in the playoffs. I was at that Cowboys playoff game a few years back and I'm still mildly pissed at the Giants for killing the fact that I also had bad ass seats to the NFC Championship. |
Re: New York Football Giants!
Man that was ugly. Those red zone interceptions are murder.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Plus the bad penalties.
|
Re: New York Football Giants!
Pretty disgraceful exhibition by the Giants. No pass rush. No help for thomas on dez bryant. Offense was no better. Bonehead play by Nicks and maybe eli too on the pick 6. OLine penalties. The hold that cost them six was bogus but they should never have been in position to be hurt by a bad call like that.
The only bright spot was Ramses Barden looked really good when he got his chance to play with the steve smith injury. And now it turns out Barden's probably gone for the season. Ligament damage and broken ankle. Tough loss. |
