You don't have to boycott seriousness because that has never been on this web site in any way, shape, or form.

Spandex shorts should only be available after the buyer passes some sort of screening process. I know I'd never wear them now. :r

I did wear spandex shorts for a while though. Of course that was in my younger, leaner days. I took a ballet class while in college. All my buddies laughed at me till I explained that I was the only male in the class - who do you think had to do all the lifts? :r

Of course, after a couple of days I stopped wearing spandex shorts. ;)

Morning Mac,

I have been reading the responses over the past couple days and would like to tell you, you are not alone - I saw on CNN this morning that there is now a website www.boycottscotland .com that is promoting a general boycott of goods and services (including tourism).

I have to agree with MCS and the Admiral and the best course of action is to keep our perspective on this issue and humor is a pretty good way to do just that.

Having said that, I suggest we have gotten so PC over the past years that this type of thing happens - I doubt this would have happened during my grandfather's generation.

We forget sometimes that ours is a country at war.

Can we at least make an exception for Secretaries of Agriculture Clifford M. Hardin and Earl L. Butz?

How can we boycott Hardins and Butz?

I don't want to start an argument here BUT, I get so sick and tired of being told that "We forget that were at war". It seems to me that as much as the wars have set this country back (human and financial wise) nobody can forget that were at war. Most likely the only person that is trying to forget that were at war is the guy that went running back to Crawford with his tail between his legs.
Hopefully we can get this thread back to some low brow humor.

Everybody needs to let go of their political views for a few minutes and take a good look at all of the crap going on around here.

I didn't mean boycott drinking Scotch. I meant boycott buying Scotch until the terrorist is dead.

That means drink it if you have it or if it's giving to you as a gift...

Geez! Did you think I was some whacko? Wait! Don't answer that!

Side note that I heard on the way into work today.

Gadhafi will be coming to NYC for a UN meeting in Sept. He owns a 4.4 acre estate in NJ where he will be staying. The 4.4 acre 5.5 million dollar estate is not taxed as it is treated like an embassy.

His next door neighbor pays $60,000 a year in property taxes. I bet he's a happy camper.

As for his visit, I wounder how many of my tax dollars will be spent on his security.

BTW - I hope this ends soon as I only have two bottles of scotch left! :D
