Just got back from the local B&M, I had a coupon and wife had one...redeemed both without any problems. The owner was unaware of the free coupon, made a call to El Baton and BINGO, I walk out with two free sticks!!! If you read the coupon, the B&Ms are getting reimbursed for these sticks, hence to control # on your coupon. Great deal!!! Free 99 is my price!!!

I tried a couple of these before at a JC Newman event at my local shop. I think they are much better after a couple of months in the humidor.
Only took about a day to get the coupon. Showed up in the junk mail folder.
The hard part will be getting out of the shop with out spending too musch $$.

I used my coupon at an event at Club 888 in Fullerton. I smoked 2 last night. The first one I smoked was flavorless. The 2nd I smoked later on an night and it was ok. Nothing to go crazy over, but hey, a free stick is a good stick ;-)

Haines Pipe in York had never even heard of El Baton, even tho they're on the website as a retailer. Ugh. This is going to end up being a challenge to pick up :)

Used mine today at my local B&M. The owner was a little sceptical, but called the number and all was good.

He said J C Newman told him they will send him two cigars for every certificate he redeems so he was happy.

When dealing with spammers, it's a lot more effective to hit the report button and let the ToE deal with it than it is to quote them.

And maybe you did hit the report button, MJ. I don't mean to make it sound like I'm singling you out for anything, I just see a lot of people on here who quote spammers and do nothing rather than that to make the admin's lives easier here in those regards.
