If you're counting calories don't drink alcohol at all, that's always been my advice.

That sounds like it might be right up my alley, thank you sir.
No fruit will be killed in the consumption of it though, should I grab some.

You're welcome. And BTW, if you're looking for options, this craft brewery offers some of the most unusual beers produced in the U.S. You could spend a lot of time finding interesting smoke pairings.

For many reasons, it's wonderful living in Colorado.

My ex-bil used to keep Michelob Light in the fridge all the time. It was okay. Busch Lite isn't bad either.
I never understood the whole "light beer concept".
I didn't drink to lose weight, I drank so I didn't kill people.

A fresh homebrew like Hefeweizen or Pilsner is pretty darn good.

Re: Does a decent light beer exist?

If it is really hot out and I am doing yard work or fishing in the direct sun I like a lite beer...yeah they don't have the taste of a good german or belguim beer and yeah they are watered down but I would rather have an ice cold beer than a water any day! Plus, I don't drink soda pop at all so beer is my go to drink...now I normally don't drink beer while smoking cigars...I drink booze. :ss
