"this shirt needs washed"...

it's "NEEDS TO BE" you moron!!!

and one my dad says (he's such a grammar stickler, i can't believe he says this)

"are you going to go get a taco bell?"

^^^ i'm not physically getting a "Taco bell" (or other fast food establishment).... i might be getting food FROM taco bell, but im not getting A Taco Bell.

when people say "hey lets have a catch"

It is supposed to be "hey lets play catch"

- irregardless
- Let me "axe" you a question
- Language blatantly peppered with "like"
- literally
- Saying "I could care less" when they mean "couldn't care less"
- ... and stuff like that.

"Bottom line" Anything... :fl :fl :fl

I know people that use that to describe everything they talk about.

Then there is the good old

"As a matter of fact"

Everything that follows that is pure BS

And then there was the kids always saying "I was just getting ready to do ..."

Don't give me that crap, I asked you to do it 4 days ago.

I don't know if this belongs in this thread, but I hate when a football referee turns on the field mic and say's "Prior to the snap, we have a false start on number XX.."

How the heck can you have a false start after the snap...???:bs

Or alternatively:
"I 'axed' Jimmy about it..."

I always want to say, "How did Jimmy feel when you put the axe in him?" but I can never bring myself to do it.
