The easiest way is to fill it so full of cigars that you don't have to worry about air being in the thing in the first place, no air, no leaks:D

Thanks for all of your help guys. I took the weatherstripping advice and it's doing a fantastic job of maintaining rh now. So much better. Thanks again!
