This. Drinking is expensive, why waste the money just trying to fall asleep after you finally catch a buzz? Not only is exercise free, it's good for you on physical and mental levels, and once you push past the first half hour the natural opioids will make you feel great.

This is another form of exercise...however, this could also be VERY expensive both up front and down the road!! :r:r:r

Normally by 2 I'm falling asleep on the couch, but I got to 3 and just crawled into bed and watched TV.

I had been out dancing all night, which you would think would tucker me out, but it's not the case, because it get's my heart rate up and I feel as if it keeps me away.

Plus, although beer is not a remedy, but it is delicious, not an alcoholic by any means (besides, if I was was, being in college gives me a bye) but it's nice to just grab a beer and chill once in a while.

And for the record it was Labbatt Blue Light, not domestic, but the most cost effective without getting into garbage beer like Keystone, Busch, and Genny. I would buy Bud Light, but Blue Light comes in 28 packs and is the same price.

If you feel the need for a chemical remedy, 50mg of benedryl and or a valerian supplement will do far more for you then a couple of beers. :2

2nd that, as well as Melatonin, which can be purchased at any drug store or even Wegmans, It is a naturally occurring hormone that gets the sleep cycle going.

and Genny is not a garbage beer, it is a local beer here in rochester, I would have thrown Pabst Blue Ribbon on the list.

I was going to dress up as Keith Stone for Halloween last year. Ended up just going trick or treating with the kids instead.

Dont get me wrong. I enjoy all beer (with the exception of Busch), I love Keys, just got to be in a different state of mind. With Keys, I tend to drink straight through the "tired" stage.

Normally there is only a majic number with beer that causes one to search out a bathroom.

"Labatt's Blue Light"

4% ABV is your problem.

If you are going to try and knock yourself out with booze, try something stronger than one of the weaker diet beers out there.

Ha. I'm not trying pass out, but just get to that warm, cozy, sleepy state. Again, it's usually 2-3. But 6 or 7 I'll be buzzing, 10-12 is drunk, and everything from that point on is just gravy. My freshmen year it was NBD to drown a 30 in an evening and still be alright, but those days are longggg behind me.

With whiskey, he won't have to get up so much during the night to piss, and his magic number drops to 1. :banger

Good call. And whiskey is low on calories, so it's kind of like working out. I am a fan of bourbon. My friends tend to make fun of me saying "Man, you do pick all of the expensive hobbies, cigars... bourbon..."
