Some people don't like writing on cello, including me. It's just a preference. But if you are going to do that, make sure it's not a strong smelling marker. Cello is breathable and your cigars will breathe in that marker smell if it's bad enough.

...not to completely de-rail the topic, but I use a sharpie to write on the cello...but on the extra cello that extends past the foot. Then, I leave the cigars on my desk for an hour or two, then back in the humi. No residual smell, never a problem. |
