and just for all you xikar fans out there...all of their stuff is manufactured in asia...not the US....
don't care where it's made personally. my cigars are not from the us and I don't really care where my cutters come from. If you insist on us made scissors it seems you're out of luck.

You might try to get a custom knifemaker that would produce a cigar cutter. I would be willing to bet if you put in a message to Mike Snody he might undertake such project. He's always making very crazy things that look very cool. (slingshots that crack skulls, money clips, knives of all kinds) Of course I would probably try to come at him with a list of like 25-50 buyers.

Or maybe another knifemaker would do something like this. Especially if they were to engrave CA into it I wonder how many people here would purchase one?

appreciate the comment. not looking for one-off custom-made. looking to source quantity to resell. i am in the import/export business...

you should read the autumn 2010 issue of ECCJ where they interview the production managers of the Wolfertz factory in Solingen germany where even the standard plastic handled xikars are still made. so before you go saying whats what please check your facts. I believe it is the next line up that is chinese assembled and has chinese handles but still german blades which by trade law makes it made in china. Mine has german blades and dead mammoth for a handle (made in kentucky) don't know where it was assembled. global market at work

It was mostly to Croatan as I figured you weren't looking for a high(er) priced custom.

Good luck with your search. If you do manage to find something, post it up. Many guys are always looking for high quality US made goods.

Or, you could try contacting Marc (OpusX) from Palio, and see if they could produce something in quantity for you... I guess it would depend on the quantity, but its worth a shot.

my apologies but do check out the discount cutlery link there are plenty of good American scissors there which could give you a jumping off point.

just a vendor however as it does contain a list of several american producers you could use it as a jumping off point. And since the names are there you can figure out the companies and there contact information with a little work.

I don't know, maybe I am a bit out of line here. But, you just come in here, looking for a quick answer to help you drum up business, and you start barking as us. Take a minute to introduce yourself and tell us something about yourself before demanding answers. This is a community full of resources, but have a little tact when asking for help. You might find that you like it here, and you might even find some customers here and end up staying. Just my :2. Best of luck with your research.

I am not going to do that. If you can't see it on your own, then me pointing it out won't help any either. It is clear to me that you just don't get it.
