Rocky Patel Vintage 1990.

Before that I had smoked Cuesta Reys, Macanudos and Acid Kuba Kubas but the first one to really get me going was the V90.

Soon after smoking that I began my decent down an ever increasing slope!

The first to really catch my attention was the NC H. Upmann Corona Major (I think) in a tube. They were the first cigar I started actively stocking...ironically now I wouldn't touch 'em.

First CC to grab my attention was, as I recall, the RASCC.

I don't even remember the designation, but I smoked a long tapered Padron that had just gotten a great rating in CA in '96(I was a newbie). The CA description said notes of raspberries, and sure enough I got hammered with flavors of raspberries. I was sitting on a bench outside of the smoke shop with a friend and just having a great time.
Among my most memorable cigar experiences, in fact it was one of my first 10 cigars. It was the first on to really wow me.

It was a Padron 3000 Maduro. I had been trying other cigars, but this was the one that I wanted to smoke and never had enough of.

It's not actually dipped. The leaf is infused via the ventilation system and the leaf absorbs the flavor.

For me, I'd have to say the mystery Cubans I'd buy in Korea. Who knows if they were real (this was 2001), but they were good. Later when I got back into cigars it was probably the HdM Excalibur 1066.

Also stellar in the same size as the Quixote. Can't remember the name of the vitola offhand.

Tried my first one of the double maduros Saturday out of a sampler I got for Father's Day, enjoyed it very much, lots of bang for the buck!:)

Well I had dabbled in cigars smoking every now and then for a few months, the downhill really picked up steam the first time I smoked the cuban imports Exile.

I was back and forth for years and years.

Smoked what I had, then what I could get. Backwoods, and Century Sams from the local corner store.

Then a friend gave me 5 Siglo II Tubos..............................I think I ate two they were so good.

AVO 22 original release. This cigar changed things for me forever. I think the price was 222.00 for a cylinder of 19. I still have 8-10 stashed away. The first cigar that made me go back and buy more was a Butera of some sort.

It was a cusano 18 double connecticut for me...a real cream bomb at the time. Every now and then I have one if I get an early day smoke, but they never hit like the first few. Still good, but my taste has advanced beyond them.

I had smoked cigars for a few years, but I really got hooked when I first tried a La Aurora 100 Anos, I think in the Toro size. It was just... wow. I still love them, when I can get my hands on them, and one of these days I will have to just suck it up and buy a box...
