Re: Question for EBay sellers... Scams?
A lot of guys on a golf forum I frequent are really unhappy with Ebay's more recent focus on buyer protection. Basically, a buyer can do no wrong, except in extreme circumstances. Lots of stories about buyers leaving bad feedback because the seller dared to send a message inquiring about slow payment, things like that.

poopal sucks, will not cover you, protection is a joke.....I bought an electronic item that was never delivered, had proof that the seller could never had delivered it to me as they never signed in the account the item came from (only place to buy it) and even with the proof, they took the sellers worn in an email that said "i sent it" .....sorry for the rant... Wish there was a better way that was just as quick... |

Make buyer sign for delivery.

Re: Question for EBay sellers... Scams?
I got mixed up in a new scam of sorts on ebay this week.
I bought a Porsche Euro DVD for our 911. I did a "buy now" and then the seller emails me that the DVD is a copy and not to give him negative or neutral feedback if I take the DVD. He would give me a refund immediately and cancel the auction... I guess that is OK, but... I did not get his email until I got the DVD's and gave him negative feedback. Nowhere in the listing does this say it's a pirated copy. Basically, he cancelled the transaction and he is refunding my money. When I open the package and saw homemade copies, I was livid. He said, "what do you expect for $70?" |
